Branch of the Voronezh Museum

Actually, the estate alone does not limit the poet's property alone. In its limits also there were a park, a stable, multiple outbuildings, an outbuilding. There is a branch of the museum, once a monastery of the family, in an area of three hectares.

Venevitinova manor is one of the few buildings of its time, which has reached our days in almost perfect condition.

On the first and second floor there are expositions that present to the attention of the visitor episodes from the life of Dmitry and his family, the poet's work. In addition, before the visitors open the door to the park and the neighborhood of the house. You can walk by yourself on these places. The only thing is to adhere to strict rules of behavior: do not damage property, do not take with you any items taken from the museum. There is also a ban on the use of alcoholic beverages and narcotic substances.

History

The very genus Venivitinovy in the territory of the modern Voronezh region appeared in the beginning of the 17th century. The first owner of the lot in these open spaces was Lavrenty Gerasimovich and his son. They acquired about 10 thousand acres of land on the left bank of the Don River. Several families of peasants immediately moved to this place. The new inhabitants were from the village of Zhivotinoye. To preserve the memory of their small homeland, a new settlement was decided to be called Novozhivotin.

Later the church was moved here, because the village turned into a village, which became the main settlement in the neighborhood.

But the most residential building was not yet. Only at the beginning of the 18th century, in a place of modern construction, a pond was dug and a park was planted. Venevitinova manor, according to experts, was built in the 60-70's of the 18th century. A decade later, the Archangel Church was also renovated. Since then it has become stone.

From the economic book of the early 19th century we learn that, in addition to the residential building, there were also a cellar, a couple of outbuildings, a glacier and a barn.

Later the history of the building was more than saturated. The hosts re-plastered the facade and demolished the second floor. During the Soviet times, Venevitinov's estate was used for the needs of the school, the orphanage, during the Great Patriotic War, military personnel were stationed there. Accordingly, each new owner changed the layout depending on the purpose of the building.

Restoration

By the time of restoration, the room was unrecognizable in comparison with the version that was originally. The estate of Venevitinov was rebuilt several times before it took shape today. For the first time the redevelopment was conducted only in 1988. The works lasted 6 years, so that the Venivitinov Museum-Estate is located here.

This family took part in many charitable events, and also made a significant contribution to shipbuilding. However, the most famous representative of the genus was precisely Dmitry Vladimirovich - a poet, philosopher, prose writer.

Since 2005, on the territory of the estate, he was placed a monument to the authorship of Maxim Dikunov.

The museum-estate of D. Venevitinov (Voronezh, 27 kilometers from the estate) looks as if he is looking at his master, who was imprisoned in bronze.

Voynich in the museum

However, not only is this famous manor. Another well-known representative of this family name is Dmitry's nephew Dmitry. He was a famous archeologist and historian.

The estate of Count Venevitinov is also associated with the name of Ethel Lilian Voynich, who worked as a governess in this house. She taught children English and literature, and also taught manners.

It was after the writer visited Russia, she wrote her legendary novel "Gadfly". Ethel was so imbued with the life of the local population, with his feelings and discontent even after reading the book "Underground Russia", that his experience of being in the country transferred to paper, changing the names and geography of the novel.

After that, she began working in the editorial office of the emigrant magazine "Free Russia" and continued to keep in touch with her foreign friends from Petersburg.

Appearance and interior

The estate of Venevitinov (Voronezh excursion offices organize trips) is a memo of federal significance.

Today the house has two floors, almost completely restored interior. The current appearance, he owes the artist-restorer Nikolai Simonov. The spirit of the 19th century was restored to its fullest. The renovated exterior of the building offers visitors to the museum to plunge into the atmosphere of those times. For the restoration, the most modern technologies were used, due to which the museum-estate Venevitinov became a popular place for pastime of many Voronezh residents.

In the evenings, in the windows you can see the silhouettes of the moving aristocracy, and holographic pictures in the dark are broadcasted to the facade of the building. It seems that there is some kind of social event or the hosts decided to invite their friends to the ball.

Also, a pond and parkland have been restored. The paths that circle the building and curl through the park are tiled and create exactly the same pattern as was the case with the first owners.

The estate of Venevitinov, whose photo is amazing beauty, has become one of the most beautiful and popular places in the Voronezh region.

Museum exhibits

ZD images not only broadcast events from the life of the famous family in front of the house, but also create three-dimensional figures of objects that once belonged to the family, but now have lost their appearance or disappeared altogether.

On the first and second floors, restorers tried to restore the interior, which was during the life of the owners. But, in addition to the use of its inhabitants, the estate of Dmitry Venevitinov will tell you about how the noblemen of the 18th and 19th centuries spent their time, about the creation and existence of a typical musical and literary salon in Russia and even will be loaded into the history of shipbuilding in the territory of the Voronezh region.

Park estate Venevitinov with a restored landscape will provide an opportunity not only to relax morally, but also to admire the historical places. And who knows, maybe your print will lie exactly on the track of Dmitry Vladimirovich or his friends.
