Areas of Minsk. Their infrastructure and livelihoods

Minsk is one of the oldest cities in Europe. Of course, now its appearance is modern, this is due to the fact that it more than ten times was almost completely destroyed and rebuilt. This picturesque city, despite its small size, has a rather complex zoning scheme. Most likely, this is the result of constant changes and historical changes. Every year Minsk became more and more numerous, its legal status and geographical location of the center often changed.

Minsk is an ancient shopping center

Some sources say that the city is already almost a thousand years old, and its name is due to the crossing of trade routes on this territory. So he got his name: from the word "exchange", that is, change, exchange. Archaeologists confirm the fact that earlier there probably were two settlements, or fortifications, which were famous for their prosperous trade industry. Watching today behind the noisy Minsk, it's hard to believe that just a couple of millennia ago there were quiet pastures where livestock were peacefully grazed. Today the city does not recognize. The bustling life of a noisy capital is completely different from the old days. It is generally believed that the main historical areas of the city are: Sukharevo, Vesnyanka, Uruchye, Chizhovka, Green Meadow and Shabany. This state of things radically changed in the twentieth century, when the area of the capital increased many times and it became necessary to artificially divide the city into administrative areas. Fortunately, some districts of Minsk have preserved their ancient historical names.

Frunzensky district and his life

Each administrative district has its own unique and fascinating history. Perhaps, the story should start with the biggest. Frunzensky district (Minsk) is considered by many to be the leader and the most successful in the city. The majority of inhabitants attract a huge number of jobs and city-forming enterprises, which are located on its vast area. But this is not strictly a business part of the city, residential arrays occupy about fifty percent of the territory. There live more than four hundred and fifty people - this is the highest indicator of the number of inhabitants in the city. Recently, a high increase in young families has been observed. Unfortunately, the territory for building is not so easy to find, as it seems at first glance. Therefore, there was a great need for free for construction sites. The problem of overpopulation for large cities is already becoming the norm and the densely populated areas of Minsk are no exception.

Sights of Pervomaisky district

The next area is unique from an architectural point of view. It is located among the picturesque massifs of the park and the Botanical Garden. Yes, this is Pervomaisky district of Minsk. The most outstanding building on its territory is the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus. One of the buildings of the National Belarusian Technical University is designed in the form of a ship. There really is something to see. Qualified architects tried to make the building attractive not only for intellectual values, but also for an outrageous appearance. It is noteworthy that this part of the city has its own emblem, made to order.

Moscow district with its infrastructure

The Moscow district of Minsk is called the youngest in the capital. However, this did not affect the number of sights, nor their historical value. It was located in the south-western part of Minsk. It is through it that the famous railway line Minsk-Brest passes. The young district continues to acquire new buildings and residential buildings. It is decorated with many attractions that will be interesting not only for tourists, but also for other residents of the capital.

Zavodskoy district: culture and industry

No less interesting is the factory district of Minsk. Located in the south-eastern part of the city, it is ideal for industrial areas. And this is not surprising, because industry is the main sphere of activity of the district. Several tens of large industrial enterprises are located on its territory. Among them: Minskzhezobeton, Minskpromstroy, Minskdrev and many others. The city is proud of the research and design organizations of the district. Education in this part of the city also does not stand in the last place. To date, there are many educational institutions aimed at producing qualified specialists for various fields of activity. Cultural monuments, which many districts of Minsk boast, are also here. Among them there is a granite monument to Lenin and many other historical figures.

The districts of Minsk, like the city itself, are a good example of cleanliness, neatness and well-developed infrastructure. Each tourist at least once is worth visiting this historic and unshakable city. Its attractions will not leave indifferent even the most demanding travelers.
