How does the "90 minutes" pass work? Rules for the use of tickets

Those who rarely happen in the Russian capital, several years ago could be puzzled by the introduction of a new ticket system. And not all Muscovites will answer the question about how the "90 minutes" travel card works. But in some cases, it can be more profitable and economical compared to conventional tickets for 1-2 trips, so it's worth investigating.

Tickets for public transport in Moscow

In 2013 the system of payment for travel was seriously changed in the Russian capital. Instead of simple and understandable tickets for a certain number of trips, incomprehensible travel cards were introduced, which cost more and seemed just stupid. After some time it became clear that such a system is much more convenient and flexible. And with the gradual introduction of new opportunities, there is even a chance to save money. You just need to figure out how the "90 minutes" travel passes, how it differs from the "One" and why the "Troika" is needed. So, let's get started.

"Single"

It is a bus pass, trolleybus, trauma and metro, as well as a monorail. It operates on all major types of public transport, according to one of two principles: either it writes off trips for each pass through the turnstile, or unlimited by their number, but is limited in time of functioning. In the first case, unlike the tickets that operated before, you can use the mentioned travel card not for 45, but for 90 days. If earlier, after a lapse of one and a half months, the journeys burned, now there is more time left to spend them. It is more convenient and economical for those who regularly use public transport, but only one kind of it. The second subspecies of "One" can be convenient for those whose work is associated with constant travel, as well as tourists. Time intervals, when this ticket is valid, can be: 1, 3, 7 days, 30, 90 or 365 days. In fact, this subspecies replaced the old extremely popular travel card for a month. However, it exists today and costs 2550 rubles.

Among other things, "United" is suitable for travel on the territory of the so-called New Moscow, but here to get there, you will have to buy another ticket. And if the passenger on his trips enjoys a combination of metro and land transport, he should take into account another travel card.

"90 minutes"

The rules for using this ticket are also quite simple: 1 trip is counted from the moment the turnstile passes and operates for one and a half hours. In this case, you can go 1 time in the subway, and there are no restrictions on buses, trams and trolleybuses. Thus, the fare on the metro and bus within this period of time is likely to be lower than in the case of using the "One" or TAT. It will be extremely convenient for those who live and work at some distance from the underground transport network, naturally, if they fit within the allotted one and a half hours. "90 minutes" - a travel card, the price of which is slightly higher than the "One", and this is understandable, because it gives the opportunity to make several trips, using only one ticket. For comparison: 1 pass will cost 60 rubles, and the tariff for 60 plantings - 2100, which in terms of a unit will be only 35 rubles, so it is profitable to purchase long-term tickets at once. Here's how the "90 minutes" travel card works, profitable for those who live or work far from the metro.

Which to choose?

When it is clear how the "90 minutes" or "One" travel cards work, it seems quite easy to understand which one will be more profitable to use in this or that situation. In fact, not everyone wants to think about it, to calculate the time spent on an average trip, which translates into unnecessary waste.

Taking into account the recent increase in tariffs, one trip without travel will cost between 29 and 50 rubles. If you take the "One" for 60 passes, each of them will cost 23.3 rubles. With a tariff of "90 minutes" it is more difficult to calculate the benefit, since several types of transport can be used if necessary at 1.5 hours. But in any case, if the route involves transplantations, it will be more profitable than a separate payment for the bus and subway. And although the "90 minutes" - a travel card, the price of which is 1.5 times higher than that of "United", it can also in many cases be much more profitable.

"Troika"

There is another map, which is extremely convenient for those who use public transport of all kinds quite regularly, but need some flexibility, which is not always given by the already mentioned species. In fact, it is an electronic wallet, but it has more special functionality and some features.

Firstly, with the "Troika" can be removed simply the standard cost of travel on land or underground transport, which in itself is beneficial, since you do not have to buy more expensive tickets for 1-2 trips.

Secondly, it is possible to record on the card a "90 minutes" or "One" travel pass, as well as subscriptions to electric trains.

Finally, another undeniable advantage of the "Three" is that it can be replenished in a large number of ways. In addition to the kiosks in the subway, through which you can simply put money on it, there is a network of terminals with which you can buy travel, as well as special sites and applications for mobile. Thus, once acquiring the "Three", you can never again go to the subway to pay for travel.

Features

All operating types of travel cards have some nuances that are not always immediately apparent to passengers, so that at some point you can suddenly encounter problems. For example, tickets "90 minutes" for 1 trip are valid only on the day of sale, so buy them for future use should not be. Yes, and a 2-pass pass does not last long - only 5 days.

At the same time, "United", which has a time limit, starts to operate from the moment of first use, so you can buy it just in advance, but not earlier than 10 days before the day when it is needed.

As for the "Troika", here, too, not everything is absolutely unambiguous. For example, if it has a travel ticket for TAT and "United" bus, then when passing through ground transport the first will work, and in the underground - the second. In addition, "90 minutes" is not combined with the other two types of travel for technical reasons. So you should take care, choosing the most profitable methods of payment for transport.
