The drug "Mukosat" instructions for use refers to chondroprotective, anti-inflammatory drugs. The main ingredient, chondroitin sulfate, is a high-molecular polysaccharide, which inhibits the resorption of tissues in the bones and reduces the loss of calcium ions. The drug "Mukosat" improves the metabolism in tissues of cartilage phosphorus, calcium, accelerates the processes of their recovery, prevents compression and degeneration of the connective tissue. Due to the ability to inhibit the activity of cartilage-damaging enzymes and to stimulate the process of combining glycosaminoglycans, chondroitin helps regenerate cartilaginous surfaces and joint bags, increases the production of synovial fluid.

Indications for use of Mukosat

Instructions for use explains that the drug is prescribed in the course of treatment of joints and spine degenerative-dystrophic nature (with osteoarthritis, affecting large joints, primary arthrosis, intervertebral osteoarthritis). Method of use

Enter intramuscularly and take the drug "Mukosat" orally. When using the agent in the form of tablets it is shown to take twice a day 0.75 grams for three weeks, then twice a day for 0.5 grams. Intramuscularly, the drug is given every other day in an amount of 0.1 grams. After the 4th injection, increase the dose to 0.2 grams. The course of therapy involves 25-35 injections. If necessary, after six months, the treatment course can be repeated. It should be noted that with the use of this medication the clinical effect is slow, but it lasts for several months.

Adverse events

There is a risk of allergic reactions occurring during the use of the drug. When applied in the form of a solution, hemorrhagia may occur at the site of the injection. In case of development of negative side effects, the medicine should be canceled. With the combined use of medication and indirect anticoagulants, antiplatelet agents, fibronolytics, the effect of the latter is enhanced, so this combination requires regular monitoring of the clotting factor.

Contraindications

People with a tendency to thrombophlebitis and bleeding, as well as those who have individual hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the medication, do not prescribe the Mukosat remedy. Injectable form of the drug is not used to treat children. The drug is contraindicated in pregnant and breastfeeding women, as there is no data on the safety of its use in these periods.
