Why does the printer print text and graphics?

At present, the cost of printing devices for computers has decreased so much that they can be found in almost every home computer system. Although only recently the availability of the possibility of outputting digital information on paper could boast only office computers. All this became possible, thanks to the progress: the introduction of new technological developments and the beginning of mass production of devices of this group. However, despite the improvement of technology, many sooner or later wonder about why the printer prints in stripes. Often it looks like this: one day the user turns on the printer and sends the desired data to the output - everything happens as usual. But at the same time he notices that the printer prints in stripes. That is: the image (graphics or plain text) seems to consist of strips - the printed sections alternate with unexplained passes. The size of the passes varies from small ones, which you can ignore, to significant ones, at the sight of which many users start panicking and the idea of buying a new printer appears. Fortunately, if you understand why the printer prints in stripes, then the problem can often be fixed relatively simply. It all depends on the complexity of the breakdown.

Reasons why the printer prints by strips

Most often, such a malfunction occurs in devices with inkjet printing principle. Although, even a thermo-dye sublimation printer is subject to it, however, for quite a different reason (usually because of improperly selected media). So, the "jet".

These devices are characterized by the least cost among alternative solutions, however, in order to preserve the possibility of high-quality printing, they require periodic implementation of a kind of "prevention". It is that even if you do not need to use the printer, you still need to turn it on once a week. It is also included in the network and a button, it is not necessary to print, although it does not hurt. If this is done in a timely manner, then the question of why the printer prints in stripes will never arise.

One of the causes of printing failures is caused by ink drying in the nozzles of the print head. The diameter of the holes is so small that even a tiny piece of dried paint causes blockage of the channel. Hence the need for periodic inclusion: the printer automatically pumps a small part of the dye through the head, thereby preventing the formation of clog. Many do not know this and do not publish anything for weeks. It's no wonder that problems arise. If, however, the printing of the stripes has begun, you need to go to the printer driver settings (the "Maintenance" section) and clean the heads. There is always such an item (for jet).

The next reason is that the paint ends. In this case, it is necessary to replace the cartridge with a new one or refill the cartridge.

By the way, the filling is not recommended by the manufacturers, since, firstly, the cartridge resource is designed for a certain number of prints (it is usually tried to "fit" it for one refueling), and, secondly, discrepancy of the paint types does not have a good effect on the print heads.

Therefore, to restore the printer, you may need:

- for inkjet models, prevent head cleaning through the driver menu;

- Refilling the cartridge or buying a new one;

- Cleaning nozzles from clogging in the service centers or independently (special liquid).
