Who are the pioneers: memories of the past

The question of who such pioneers is likely to confound the representatives of the current young generation, or their answers will be quite far from reality. Turning to history, it was a movement of children's communist formations both in our country and in other socialist states.

Having analyzed who such pioneers are, it can be said that the Scout community is at the source of this organization. However, there were a number of features. Unlike scouts, the pioneer system covered all schoolchildren, had financial and moral state support. Its purpose was to educate people who fully approve of the existing ideology. In addition, another difference from scouts was the lack of division of primary organizations on the basis of gender.

Taking this into account, when answering the question of who such pioneers are, one can say with a high degree of certainty that this movement was at that time part of the state machine of the USSR and its loyal socialist countries. It was formed by the decision of the Komsomol conference in 1922, originally bore the name of Spartacus. After Lenin's death, the organization was renamed in his honor. When studying the question of who such pioneers are, it is possible to find out that at first the detachments of this movement formed in the homes of upbringing, in its ranks the children entered individually. Also, the base for them was transformed scout communities.

After 1925, the formation of organizations was entrusted to schools, the movement received a mass character. In it, children were accepted, starting at the age of nine, the first to receive activists engaged in public work, and honors pupils. They were formally admitted to the pioneers at will, but in reality practically all the pupils of the corresponding age were members of this organization. Outside the movement could only be otpetye hooligans or children from principally religious families. This became one of the steps of the party organization of the state, the peak of which was the CPSU.

The organization had a form consisting of a badge and a red tie tied in a certain way, there were pioneer heroes - children who performed various feats that served as examples for the rest. For the movement, a serious infrastructure was created. It included camps for recreation of local, regional, republican and union significance, in almost every village under the aegis of the organization, houses were created for children's creativity. There was a newspaper Pionerskaya Pravda, in which pioneers published photos, articles, essays. The scale of the publication was impressive, it was written out by all schools, libraries and very many parents for their children. Great importance was given to various mass events, concerts, shows, hikes, rallies, sports competitions. Popularized by the paramilitary game "Sunshade," which was provided in all children's camps.

When the USSR collapsed, and the leading and guiding role of the CPSU was lost, the mass movement drastically declined. Joining the pioneers has ceased to be mandatory, there has been no coordination at the state level, most primary cells have disintegrated. Pioneer organizations are recreated by the Communists , but they are few in number.
