Who are humanists and what is the essence of humanism?

Who are humanists? Before answering this question, it is worthwhile to understand what is directly humanism. This is above all a dignified and careful attitude towards man. Respect for him, support, sympathy. As the Marxist theory says , humanism is a worldview that recognizes the highest value of the person, his good and dignity. The first humanist is Francesco Petrarca, an Italian poet and the greatest figure of the Proto-Renaissance.

The answer to who such humanists are, is very unambiguous - these are people who treat others with respect, regardless of the mentality of other personalities, even if they do not feel the same attitude toward others. It should be noted that humanism should not go far. That is, in respect and sympathy there must be a line.

What are human values? Obviously, this is life and the desire to live a full life, to experience happiness. These are normal needs of any person, which help to save the taste of life, kindness in the heart. A humanist is a person who is completely free. He can profess personal values, have something, be a free conscience. And how to understand the definition of "priority values"? Here you can explain this way - absolutely anything that does not exclude them is allowed. So, who are such humanists, to understand simply - these are people who promote the idea calling for recognizing universal human values as the basis of the life of any person.

You can make another definition. It, too, can fully answer the question of who such humanists are. So people can be called who recognize the right of existence of all private values in society, but on one condition. Freedom, good-neighborliness and the values of life will never be violated. For nobody. Will remain forever inviolable, if we say in simple words.

I want to note that humanism is not an ideology, no matter how paradoxical it may sound. However, it should be noted here that it is necessary to understand directly under ideology. A consistent system of views is a philosophical system or doctrine, maybe a worldview. The ideology is a picture of the world. It can also be called a code of power. Humanism, if explained in Russian, is humaneness, complete willingness to begin to build life on values as simple and direct as possible. Start to appreciate every minute of life, respect each other, get rid of problems and stop loading them. That is, who are humanists? These are people who live in pleasure, not neglecting small joys.

Humanism is a freethinking and alternative to ideology. And maybe this is a philosophical system? Perhaps, however, only in a specific sense, in the most minimal. If we dig deeper and study this topic from all sides, then we can say that the system of views on which humanism is based is common sense. Everyone lives as he likes, an obvious principle that every humanist follows. There is one more that should be followed by all people: do the same to others as you want them to do to you. This is the ethics and essence of humanism.
