Philippines
The national flag of this republic has been used since 1898. It is made in the form of a rectangle with a width two times smaller than the length. On the African continent, too, there are states whose flag is white, red, and yellow. What country uses such a cloth? This is Uganda, which began to use this symbolism after gaining independence from Britain. The flag has the shape of a quadrilateral, whose sides refer to each other as three to two. It is divided into six horizontal strips of the same size. The upper one is black, then the yellow one, and then the red one, after which the order repeats. In the center there is a white circle, inside of which there is a bird that is a symbol of the country - a crowned crane. Black recalls the color of the skin of tribes inhabiting the state, yellow - about the hot African sun, and red - about the blood shed in the war for sovereignty. Prior to independence in 1914, the symbol of the country was a blue cloth with the flag of Britain and the state emblem - all the standards of the British colonies of those times were created according to this pattern.
Seychelles
The new state flag, white-red-yellow, the country approved in June 1996. The panel is made in the form of a rectangle, whose length is twice the width. Antigua and Barbuda
