A picturesque city in the south-west of the country is in the center of this natural palette of colors. Located along the Rhone River, the building of St. Pierre cathedral impresses with its architectural elegance. In winter, tourists from all over the world come to Geneva to ski and snowboard on the local mountain slopes. In summer, many travelers enjoy relaxing on the beaches.

In the city there is an amazing beauty fountain - Jet Deo, which every tourist who comes to this hospitable country should see.

Netherlands, Utrecht

We will continue to consider the question of where the happiest people in the world live . The countries of northern Europe in this respect occupy a leading position. However, in such a state as the Netherlands, for man, too, comfortable conditions for "making" are created. In particular, in the Dutch city of Utrecht, people in all senses feel excellently. Here artists, musicians, and poets take inspiration. The abundance of pubs, bars and cafes makes it possible for tourists to taste savory dishes of national cuisine. In the Swedish city, too, there is something to see. Here is an amazing architecture: the ancient quarters and the historical appearance of the city squares seem to return the tourist to 3-4 centuries ago. Despite Swedish conservatism, city hall officials listen to immigrants and students who are always ready to share their modernist ideas for the city's improvement.

On the North American continent, too, there is a city whose inhabitants are satisfied with life. This is the Canadian Kingston, which is located in the eastern province of Ontario. In the Finnish capital, a minimum level of official corruption is fixed.

There is a high level of quality of life and education, the difference in the incomes of the population is insignificant. Again, in Helsinki the culture is developed at a high level: the abundance of theaters, philharmonic halls, museums is a vivid confirmation of this. The architectural appearance of the Finnish city is represented by the Art Nouveau style, which impresses tourists with its splendor.

Russian cities

Undoubtedly, a huge number of people are interested in the question of where the happiest people of Russia live.

As shown by the results of opinion polls, the list of leaders was the capital of the Chechen Republic - the city of Grozny. Also, Russians feel comfortable in such cities as Kazan, Sochi, Krasnodar, Tyumen, Surgut. But the Russian capital in the ranking of the most "happy" cities took only 52 place.

The results of sociological research have demonstrated that the degree of financial well-being is essential for Russians, but at the same time it is not the determining criterion that makes a person happy. The main factors, as it turned out, are the level of security, the sense of change for the better in the city where people live, the ecological situation. This is the only reason why the cities have broken into leaders, the shape of which has changed radically in recent years: Sochi, Grozny, Kazan.

As for the outsiders of the rating, they include such cities as Chita, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Bratsk. Their inhabitants are dissatisfied with the quality of their own lives.
