What is speech communication, or a little about communication

Speech communication is verbal communication. One of the main tasks of linguistics is the definition of the principles of using the language during communication. In this case the basic role is played by the purpose of communication. The fact is that some goals of communication have certain requirements: the appropriate set of vocabulary, intonation, oral and written forms. Relations between partners, time and place of communication are also very important. The fact that native speakers intuitively feel how the topic and nature of communication vary depending on the time and place of its conduct.

Thus, speech communication depends on the situation of communication. If some parameter of the situation changes, then the use of funds will be carried out in a different way. Since the flow of speech can be of different directions, monologue and dialogical speech are distinguished. In the first case, only one communicant is active. As for the second variant, here, voice communication can be directed in one or several directions, and the periods of activity of communicants are replaced by stages of perception and processing of information.

There are several types of verbal communication, but a special place among them is public communication. The fact is that this speech is distinguished by increased officiality and rigor. Since human speech is variable and varies depending on the proposed conditions, language as a means of communication is functionally oriented.

Note that the effectiveness of speech communication depends on the correspondence of information to the goals set, as well as the correctness of its perception on the part of the addressee. The fact is that communication is not a transmission, but an exchange of information, therefore, statements contain both a verbal impact on the interlocutor and the message as a whole.

Very often the main goal of the utterance is not in the speech influence, but in self-expression. In this case, the process of communication begins to include the use of references, insertions ("you know," "understand"), as well as some grammatical constructions (imperative mood) and intonational patterns.

Note that speech communication and its nature depend on the types of impact. So, it is customary to call social influences greetings, vows, farewells, wills, decrees. They are characterized by the fact that there is no information transfer in them . Different kinds of wills are induced to act according to the expressed desire of the interlocutor. As for informative species, among which are reports, stories, messages, they can stimulate the action not directly, but indirectly. All speech effects describe the dialogic communication as completely as possible, and without them dialogue can not take place.

Note that speech communication in its basis contains a certain model, which does not depend on the conditions of its conduct and the means used. So, its main components are:

  1. Addressee, in whose role can act as a speaker, and a writer.
  2. The addressee, that is, the one who listens and reads.
  3. Message - saying either orally or in writing. Without this, the act of communication will not happen, because there will be no transmitted and received information.

Note that in the process of communication a person solves such basic tasks:

  1. Effectiveness of the receipt and transmission of information.
  2. Achieving the goal by convincing the interlocutor or encouraging him to commit an action.
  3. Getting information about who is communicating with.
  4. Self-realization in a positive way.

Thus, speech communication is a process of communication in a broad sense, the purpose of which is the exchange of information.
