What is a monogamous relationship, their advantages and disadvantages

Despite the fact that we are all reasonable people, we are often covered by feelings and emotions, which not everyone can cope with. It's about such a wonderful feeling as love, which captivates a person and makes him perform sometimes unexpected acts. The logical conclusion of a successful romantic relationship is a wedding, after which a man and a woman belong exclusively to each other.

Monogamous relations are such an interaction between a man and a woman, who in no way allows the possibility of betrayal or love relationships with another person. It is on this basis that the family is holding, which is not only a unit of society, but also the place where children are born and brought up. Therefore, the true relationship between a man and a woman should be based solely on love and mutual respect.

However, as psychologists say, not every man is ready to have a monogamous relationship, since it is necessary to grow to this level. In early youth, most young people tend to have a lot of romantic relationships with different girls, because it is sometimes difficult for a person to understand their feelings. Today he likes one girl, tomorrow is another, and the lack of experience and seriousness leads to superficial relations. In early youth, there is nothing wrong with this, because during this period a person is looking for his half, with whom he is going to spend his whole life. However, it is precisely during this period that people's attitudes to each other are laid and formed. In the future it is their views that will determine the possibility of behavior in a particular life situation. It is, of course, about the possibility of meeting in the future another person who is not averse to a romantic relationship with the one who is bound by marriage. Therefore, the vital attitude of the person himself to this situation in principle will be decisive here.

In our country, it is traditionally believed that monogamous relationships are the basis of a right and decent life. If you take the East and a number of Muslim countries, then there are allowed polygamous marriages, that is, when one man can officially marry several women. The most interesting thing is that most women of the East agree with this state of affairs, since the Muslim faith allows a man to have up to 4 wives.

In the countries of Europe and America, only monogamous relations are officially recognized, which allow a married couple to be in an official marriage exclusively with each other. However, real life, unfortunately, is full of examples where a man or a woman changes his second half, and the reasons can be completely different. There are times when a man may simply be seduced by an attractive girl or may accidentally change his wife by being intoxicated. At the same time, there is a type of men who can not be satisfied with one woman, and begin to meet other girls in the future without a twinge of conscience. Of course, these examples show completely different circumstances of treason, and therefore the approach to such situations must be different.

It should be understood that not everyone likes monogamous relationships, such people are not at all aimed at creating a family. Their goal may be a way of life that provides for the opportunity to meet with different people, for some it's even not bad. If we take such a category of people as poets, writers, musicians and artists, their life examples tell us that many of them had novels "on the side". It must be understood that for a man a girl is a kind of muse that inspires him both to various actions, and to achieve certain creative peaks. Therefore, the relationship between people of creative professions is often woven into a complex tangle, which sometimes is very difficult to understand.

Summarizing all of the above, it can be concluded that human relations are so wide and varied that it is necessary to study at the Faculty of Applied Psychology for their research and understanding . The main thing is to understand that in any case it is impossible to make superficial and quick conclusions, condemning the deed of this or that person. Of course, for each of us it is monogamous relations that should become an example of a worthy and right life, but on this path there can be pitfalls, for overcoming which a person should be guided by his moral principles and faith.
