Welding of Plastic Pipes

Plastic heating pipes are famous for the fact that they do not need expensive welding at all. It is enough for the average consumer to purchase the appropriate plastic heating pipes , as they can be docked together using thermal welding.

What does thermal welding have in common with plastic pipes?

Each of them can not exist without each other. If steel pipes are made to be connected together by expensive gas welding, then complex and expensive equipment is not required at all.

It is enough for the master to bring a small suitcase with him, in which a thermal soldering iron and special nozzles for pipes will be carefully folded, as all work can be completed in a few hours. But this is the maximum. If the master turns out to be a sensible one, then all the work on joining together plastic pipes and heating radiators ends in just a half an hour. Welding with a thermal soldering iron is also safe.

Much is important here. If the master does not warm the pipes, they will necessarily flow already during the test run of the coolant. And the reverse case - when overheating plastic pipes, their clogging happens. And the efficiency of the entire system falls by an order of magnitude.

In order not to be mistaken in the choice of plastic pipes and attachments, one must understand the main thing: pipes of a larger cross section are bought than was previously accepted. For example, when steel pipes with an outer diameter of 25 mm were used as heating pipes, now, in order to connect everything competently and with care, you need to buy plastic pipes with a section of 30 mm. Only in this case it will be possible to guarantee that no more streaks, even at the strongest pressure of the coolant, will be observed more. If you do not comply with these simple rules, flooding the apartment will be just a matter of time. How many such cases occur in early spring, when the heating is turned on at full capacity!

No less important will be the choice of plastic pipes. To ensure that everything can function properly and after many years, two types of plastic pipes have to be chosen - metal plastic pipes or cross-linked polyethylene pipes (PE-X), which have proved their reliability in terms of resistance to excessive coolant pressure and high temperature.

Time has shown that the future is behind plastic pipelines. Corrosion resistance of materials, ease of installation, safety of installation works make PVC pipes an indispensable material for the construction of pipelines.
