In order to prepare gingerbread, you need:

  • Mix butter and cream with sugar and beat this mixture diligently with a mixer so that a homogeneous mass is obtained.
  • Smash the egg in a bowl and pour in honey (or molasses), add cocoa, soda, spices (to taste).
  • Pour in the same bowl of flour, mixing it with a spatula.
  • Add the flour until the dough stops sticking to the hands.
  • Dough rolled into a bowl, wrapped in cellophane and put into the refrigerator for an hour or overnight.
  • Put on the parchment part of the dough, cover it with parchment on top and roll out a layer 3-5 mm thick.
  • Cut the figurines.
  • Oven to warm up to 175 degrees.
  • Place the carved figurines on a baking sheet lined with paper and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  • Cool the gingerbread cookies on the grate.

How to prepare glaze?

In order to make the glaze, rub in a bowl of egg white (spoon) with 150 g of sugar powder. For plasticity, you can add ½ tsp. Starch corn, and for shine - ½ tsp. Lemon juice. Since the glaze dries quickly, you need to cover the dishes from above with a damp towel or immediately spread the product over confectionery bags.
