The main thing is to believe in your love and work on relationships, and then love after the wedding will only become stronger.

It is often asked whether the attraction of a man and a woman is sinful. It is natural and normal in itself, and one should not try to attribute sin and sin to love and marriage. Everyone who says that responsible relationships are unclean is subject to anathema, so do not listen to the tales of sectarians and apostates. But the physical attraction to the opposite sex must be seen as something subordinate. It's one thing if a dog helps his master on a hunt, the other is if he devours food for the owners on the table. Therefore, it is necessary that the physical attraction knows its place.

In the sacrament of marriage, the spouses are united, they begin to form one flesh and one spirit. Therefore, divorce is as painful and abnormal as a rupture of the flesh. Parental blessing at the wedding is a very ancient and majestic tradition. It was not mandatory even in the old days, the young could get married and against the will of the parents, but it's so good to enlist the support of important people in our lives. How to give and receive a blessing? The young kneel in front of their parents, and they baptize one by one, pronouncing the words of blessing, after which the young kiss the hands of their parents. The words of blessing are not something fixed and obligatory, each parents bless as they see fit. Some simply say: "Advice to you and love," others want happiness and many children, others give advice based on life experience. There are no hard and fast rules, just ask your parents to say what's on their mind, and what they think is most important.

Perhaps you have been married for many years, but not yet married. Wedding after the wedding can be arranged in many years. It's never too late to do, especially a registered marriage by the church is fully recognized and no normal priest will tell you that you live in sin. If you say this - you can safely complain. The social concept of the Orthodox Church uniquely prescribes the respect of the church for a registered marriage. However, it's easier for married spouses, because their marriage is protected by heavenly powers. So this is more than a beautiful ceremony.
