(The weather in Sochi is detrimental to the mood of patriotic organizations)

For some reason, it was believed that the patriotism of the Sochi residents depends directly on natural disasters. For a good half of October on the heads of residents, visitors and builders of the Olympic city poured such a rainfall, which has not been since the beginning of the year in total. It seemed that the weather was taking revenge on the southern Russian capital for some unprecedented sins. The punishment was long and exhausting, but as it is supposed, the wrath of heaven was replaced by mercy. The scorching summer sun dispelled the remains of heavy thunderclouds, as the weather forecast did not ask them to linger, and exposed the snow-capped peaks of the Caucasus mountains. Such weather is the dream of the organizers of the Winter Olympic Games on the Black Sea coast: the abundance of snow on the ski slopes, the blue-blue sky, the greens of palms and other southern trees and the flat surface of a good sea attracting belated tourists.

The disconnection of rains worked the team to rest for various officials, deputies and public figures. It sounded like a volley of a signal rocket, and all rushed to tours and resorts. No, not at the resorts of the native city, not at the new ski tracks of Krasnaya Polyana, but trite far away, there for the "hillock" where everything is included, and one should not think about the problems of his native city, but about some patriotism of the people's Mass.

In general, patriotism in Sochi is not a mass phenomenon and some kind of unconventional, not all-weather. In the winter it is swept away by accidental snowfall, in summer it is buried in the resort season, and in the autumn everything is suddenly tired after the summer and a string, like a flock of wild not even geese, and the ducks, huddled in loose jambs from tour operators, plow the expanses of the boundless air ocean.

It is not necessary to say that the Sochi residents do not like their city and the country they live in, they love, but they love themselves more and receive benefits from the geographical location of the city. A small part of the population is ready to splash out a wave of patriotism, share the emotional and spiritual uplift with others, and here are the leaders of the progressive-thinking, capable of awakening in the souls of the masses all sleeping and hidden, units.

The leaders of the Interregional Association of Veterans of Airborne Forces and Special Forces (ASV VDV), whose central governing body is the board, tried to understand this situation, and is spending most of its work in Sochi.

The 2 nd annual conference "Patriots of Russia", conducted with the support of the General Director of ZAO SKO Adlerkurot, deputy ZKK of the Krasnodar Territory, Mikhail Milenin, invited the leaders of all organizations of patriotic orientation, representatives of state authorities, the siloviki.

For the second year, the conference room of Coral Corps hosts guests with one goal: to generalize the activities of veterans, religious, public, Cossack organizations, law enforcement agencies, public authorities in the development and strengthening of patriotism in the society, preventing harmful dependencies in the youth environment. And in the second year the result is one - organizations that can rightly be considered patriotic, for a big city with close government and world attention is extremely small.

The first conference in 2010, in contrast to similar events conducted by opponents, led to certain positive shifts and results: a number of organizations, complemented by law enforcers, united to achieve their goals. To such conferences are usually skeptical, call them talk, but here are concrete and significant results. In a number of schools, higher and secondary educational institutions, anti-drug, preventive, patriotic events were held and conducted, not only with pupils, but also with their parents. Not only volunteers from the Center for the Prevention of Harmful Dependencies in the Youth Environment and Sochi State University, but also veterans and active military personnel of the Airborne Forces and Special Forces are involved in holding such events. There has been established a freelance interaction between the special subdivisions of Sochi, and a large part of the Cossack organizations are connected to the work. Representatives of the Federal Service for Drug Control and border guards are connected to active interaction.

Everything would be fine if it were not so sad. The 2nd conference showed that the number of patriots in the city has not increased significantly, which can not be said about the organizations of the neighboring Republic of Abkhazia, actively participating in all events held by the Interregional Association of Airborne Veterans and Special Forces and not only. The rapprochement of veteran, Cossack organizations of Abkhazia and Sochi was one of the topics of the conference. A striking example of this activity was the establishment in March of this year of the International Heroes' Foundation, one of the founders of which was Defense Minister Hero of Abkhazia, General of the Army Mirab Kishmaria. But if the patriotism of the brotherly neighbor's people is okay, then what happens to the huge number of existing organizations in Sochi?

It is impossible to say that all of them are overwhelmed with an endless mass of public work. These are the party members, those, yes, they are drowning in the "people's mud", they are so drowning that on the eve of the parliamentary elections, two dozen heads of organizations were ignored, behind which are not even dozens, but hundreds of people. This is probably from the excess of the electorate. Elections to the State Duma are important, and then, who is on top of that, the Yedrosy presses on the administrative resource: "Bring ten friends with you and you will not get anything", the Communists are still being deformed under red flags, and liberals - they are liberals Left, though right, and a five-percent barrier will be overcome. About the People's Sochi front and not to say, there is a front, but there is no people in it. This, like the Sochi Public Council, is a council without the public.

If everything is clear and clear with parties, then where did the rest go? About Afghan leaders in general can not speak, they were blown away completely, there are no more powerful alliances and communities of veterans of that war, there were only fragments that densely sucked into the city and regional budget, and that does not change what flags they are not attached to and in What colors would not be repainted. The patriotic flame fades in offices and basement headquarters. But there are full forces and zeal new organizations. "Combat Brotherhood - Combat Combat ..." - words from the song, All-Russian public organization of veterans with the same name. Less than a month later, solemnly in the presence of city husbands and an admired group gathered at the Memorial of Memory in Zavokzalny district, the Banner of the organization was given only to the baked Sochi city department. So to say: "With heat, heat ...", and with the battle flag of the blood color of grandfathers, fathers, brothers who did not return from battle, it would be time to fight! But no. There is no heat and heat in the Sochi brotherhood of the badge. There was an initiative and a desire, but those people who stood at the origins of the department, but their current leaders were separated, pushed aside and quietly forgotten. Then the old army proverb is triggered: "The initiative in the army is punishable ...".

The whole history of the Sochi city branch of the "Combat Brotherhood" is full of mysteries and mysteries. The Krasnodar regional branch of the organization either did not dare to open a branch in Sochi, or the hands did not reach, or the brains did not suffice. It was thought, the Moscow fathers-commanders guessed, and they decided to send Evgeny Privalov, the head of the Rostov regional branch, who was not serving in the army to a dashing cavalryman, whose construction company was working in the central district of the city. The veterans gathered in the office of the head of the school № 29, while at the school stadium children under the flags of the BB chased a soccer ball, and signed the protocol on the intention that the organization needed to be. Boris Ovchinnikov, president of the DIA of the Airborne Forces, signed this document in this document. It seems that the association standing on its feet is deliberately creating an apposition, which was confirmed by the celebration of the 81st anniversary of the formation of the Airborne Forces. A clear and beautiful event in Adler and a shameful likeness of it in the administration of the Central District. Some kind of non-combat brotherhood is obtained.
