Frescos on facades

Known for its frescoes on the facades of the houses, the city is struck by the imagination of medieval buildings - the first painted buildings in Trento. Guests of the city admire the buildings with images created with the use of an interesting technique of light and shadow.

On the frescoes one can see glorious heroes of Greek and Roman mythology, allegorical medieval figures telling about vices and virtues.

Katsufi Palace

The three-storeyed palace, which preserved its original appearance, was built in the 16th century. The facade of the palazzo was lavishly decorated with frescoes with floral ornaments and scenes on biblical themes. Unfortunately, images have suffered from time and are poorly visible. Two rows of windows of the spacious palace rest on the cornices, and four portal entrances with a rounded top attract glances.

A hospitable city in Italy surprises all tourists with alpine flavor. The wonderful climate and cultural and historical heritage make it incredibly attractive in the eyes of all foreigners who want to get acquainted with the north of the country.
