Childhood

Ezhel Mikhail Bronislavovich was born on October 19, 1952 in the Vinnitsa region, in the Barskiy district, in the village of Sloboda-Yaltaushkovskaya. In addition to Michael, the youngest in the family, there were six more children. Parents were called Bronislaw and Maria. Despite the fact that Mikhail grew up without a father, he kept himself in good physical shape and distinguished by diligence.

Education

He studied at the Kiev specialized boarding school. Graduated with honors. The title of master of sports in basketball was received at school. When Mikhail graduated from the Naval Academy, he received the title of Chief of Staff of anti-submarine ships. A year later he began to command a brigade of naval vessels.

From 1991 to 1993, Yezhel served as the commander of the Pacific Fleet. At this time he was on the list of the best commanders. In March 1993, Yezhel swore allegiance to Ukraine and became Deputy Chief of the Glavka of the Navy. From 1993 to 1994 he replaced the commander for armament, then became the chief in the field of armament and ship repair.

In 1996, Yezhel was appointed to the position of Admiral-Inspector of the Navy Chief of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. From 1996 to 2001, he replaced the Minister of Defense and became commander of the Navy. Appointment Yezhel Mikhail Bronislavovich received a difficult time, when there was a question between the Russian Federation and Ukraine about the Black Sea Fleet and Sevastopol. Mikhail Bronislavovich took an active part in modernizing the area of shipbuilding and the material and technical base. From 2001 to 2003 he became the chief commander of the Ukrainian Navy. He was dismissed in the fall of 2003.

In 2007, Yezhel was an advisor to Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych. From 2008 to 2010 - the chief inspector of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. In the spring of 2010 he was appointed Verkhovna Rada as minister. In February 2012, he received resignation, and on the same day D. Salamatin was appointed in his place.

Since April 2013, according to the decree of the President of Ukraine, Ezhel Mikhail Bronislavovich is an ambassador from his country to Belarus. In 2015, he was recalled from this position and in May of the same year dismissed.
