Treatment of inguinal hernia in men without surgery. Treatment with folk remedies

The inguinal and scrotal hernia is a common pathology of the anterior abdominal wall. Basically, this disease occurs in men, since the inguinal canal is much wider and much worse protected by connective tissue than in women. In children inguinal hernia is even less common, mostly it is congenital. Usually, the hernia is filled with a part of the omentum or small intestine. Sometimes in men it falls into the scrotum, in this case it is called inguino-scrotal.

In many cases, it can be seen with the naked eye (photos of the inguinal hernia in men are presented in this article), because in its place there is a characteristic protrusion that does not disappear on its own. The hernia can be jammed, which usually causes an intestinal obstruction. In general, this process is accompanied by acute pain.

Reasons for education

The organs pass through the inguinal canal. The canal is formed by a transverse muscle, an internal oblique and connective tissue. Its total length is 4.5 cm.

The canal from the outer part is covered with an oblique muscle, and the connective tissue with an inner muscle. It covers from above a transverse and oblique muscle, the inguinal ligament - from below. Injuries or weakening of any of the elements listed above lead to the formation of a hernia gates.

The inguinal and scrotal hernia is formed for the following reasons:

  • obesity;
  • At pregnancy - weakening of the abdominal press;
  • Regular constipation;
  • Weight lifting.

Kinds

Therapy of a hernia depends on the degree of infringement of the intestine and the type of protrusion. Depending on these parameters, the doctor determines which treatment will suit you - medication or surgery.

Hernia can be of two types:

  • Oblique;
  • straight.

Inguinal straight hernia, according to statistics, is formed in adult males. The inner part of the intestine swirls inside, thus creating a loop. The main reason for its occurrence is intense physical work and lifting weights. Treatment of this disease - operative, tentatively it is necessarily done by an inguinal hernia.

The slanting hernia is the prerogative of only men. The intestine with it occupies the area of the inguinal canal, in addition, it can penetrate into the scrotum. At the initial stages of the disease conservative therapy is applied, which is aimed at strengthening these muscles. In all other cases, an operation is performed. The hernia in this case is removed completely.

Signs of a hernia

The very first sign of a hernia is a swelling of the tissues. The protrusion after lifting weights increases, while the person can feel the sharp soreness arising in the groin.

After urinating or emptying the intestine, the hernia decreases in size, which is explained by the decrease in pressure inside the abdominal cavity.

In the groin in the standing position there is a pain that can be temporary or permanent, it depends on the severity of the disease.

Hernia in neglected cases can be accompanied by nausea, fever, heart palpitations.

Excessive exercise is considered one of the main causes of inguinal hernia. In particular, the defect is manifested in people who engage in simulators and lift heavy weights or weights. Exercises related to the work of abdominal muscles increase intra-abdominal pressure, which leads to the appearance of a hernia.

People with this disease can exercise only if the inguinal inguinal hernia does not receive a load from them. The most effective sport in this case is swimming. Man with the help of it strengthens the muscles of the press, thereby creating a positive effect.

Also it is possible to carry aerobics to physiotherapeutic methods, walking and easy running, bicycling. But all the exercises should be discussed with the doctor.

If he allows, then you can use such a set of classes:

  • Lying on his back, do swinging legs, dropping his arms along the body. We know this exercise as a "scissors".
  • Lying on your back, keep your hands behind your head, and your legs bend at your knees. Alternately, the left and right knee and the elbow of the opposite arm should be pulled together. This exercise is performed up to fifteen times, it can be done during the day.
  • Exercise "bicycle" - twist "pedals".

Wearing a bandage

Almost all experts advise wearing a bandage when an inguinal hernia occurs. Although this method is not included in the methods of treatment. The bandage will only alleviate the condition of a person, but the disease can not be cured. It prevents the possibility that the hernia will increase, in addition, reduces the risk of an infringed hernia. Although it is worth constantly wearing a corset, otherwise the disease will progress.

If there is no improvement in the patient's condition after these treatments, there is only one way out of this situation - surgical intervention.
