"The Valley of Ferns": a film about nature and kindness

For the first time the cartoon "The Valley of Ferns" came out just over 20 years ago. He immediately fell in love with the viewer largely thanks to his concept. More precisely, this is not a cartoon film, but a series of feature films that tell the story of the same heroine, the fairy forest fairy of Christa. The hero-antagonist is the evil spirit of Heskus.

It is very interesting for the authors of the cartoon to create the latter in the form of an incomprehensible gray-black substance. This appearance of the negative character is very symbolic. The main essence of Heskus is suffering and destruction. However, in order to make the children more understandable, during the main part of the cartoon it looks like a smoke cloud with clearly traced hands, a body. Thus, we can say that Heskus is the personification of environmental pollution. "Valley of ferns" - a cartoon about the need to protect nature.

1. "Fern Valley: The Last Tropical Forest". In this first cartoon fairy tale inhabitants of the rainforest lock the evil spirit in one of the trees. But there it was: people appeared and began to cut down all vegetation, not suspecting that they could release an evil that would destroy all life. People ruthlessly tear out the ancient trees with a root, which reliably protected animals. All this they do for the joy of Heskus, who does not wait until he can already pollute and absorb everything around.

2. "Fern Valley-2: Magic Salvation". In this cartoon, there is no Heskus. The heroes face another problem: poaching. Bad people kidnapped a lot of animals in their networks, but the animals, using a good moment, fled. Poachers plant a fire, resulting in many forest residents are badly affected. Tropically, elves benefit from the misfortune of animals, and the fairy of Christ, endowed with the power of healing, saves touching creatures. Residents of the forest have to go to the city to save their home. Their main problem is that they never left the limits of their native valley. At the beginning of the cartoon we see a real idyll: a beautiful, abundant valley with a harmony between all inhabitants. This is the place of fairy life and magic. In the center of events is the hero Pips, who along with the fairy Christo tries to save his habitat. Of course, everything ends in the best way.

The film "Valley of ferns" teaches good. The authors instill in the audience love and respect for nature and all living things. The film has become very popular.
