The preparation "Berlition" (instruction)

The drug "Berlion", the instruction to which indicates its effectiveness in the preventive therapy and treatment of alcoholic, diabetic polyneuropathy, as well as in the treatment of various liver diseases, is becoming increasingly popular. It is used for the treatment of acute hepatitis of any genesis, chronic hepatitis, with cirrhosis of the liver.

This drug is referred to as effective hepatoprotectors. It has hypoglycemic and hypolipidemic action. In diabetics, this drug improves the level of pyruvic acid in the blood. It prevents the accumulation of glucose in blood vessels, the formation of glycation products, normalizes endoneural blood flow, stimulates the production of an antioxidant substance (glutathione). It also improves the performance of peripheral nerves.

Forms of the release of the drug "Berlition" are:

• 300 units - in ampoules with solution for injection (12 ml);
• 300 oral - oral tablets;
• 300 - oral capsules;
• 600 units - concentrated ampoules (24 ml);
• 600 - oral capsules.

Chemical composition of the medicament:

• In the solution contains thioctic acid (300, 600 ED), water for injection ;
• Tablets and capsules contain thioctic acid (300, 600 mg), medium chain triglycerides, sorbitol, titanium dioxide, amaranth, glycerin, gelatin, solid fat.

The drug "Berlition" is a concentrate for infusion and dilution with a solution of 0.9% sodium chloride. The ampoule is diluted in 250 ml and the solution is injected intravenously for at least 30 minutes. The bottle with solution during the introduction is covered with foil from exposure to light. In such conditions it is suitable for 6 hours more. At the end of the course, infusions switch to taking pills and capsules. The duration of therapy is 2 months. If necessary, appoint a second course, which is carried out after six months.

The preparation "Berlition 300", the instruction

Used for intramuscular injection (2 ml, constantly changing the area of administration). The duration of the course is 2-4 weeks. Intramuscular administration is supplemented with a daily intake of capsules or tablets of 1-2 pcs. About 2 months.

The preparation "Berlition 600", the instruction

It is used for liver diseases 1-2 capsules a day. The dosage depends on the severity of the disease, the laboratory tests of the patient's liver function.

With polyneuropathy (alcoholic, diabetic) take "capsules 300" 1 p. A day for 2 capsules or "capsules 600" - 1 capsule per day for 0.5 hours before breakfast. In severe forms, the remedy takes 7-14 days, injecting it intravenously (24 ml per day in the morning) and taking 1 tablet or capsule in the evening. Tablets do not break and do not chew.

The active substances of the preparation "Berlition", the instruction to which forbids drinking it with milk, are able to combine with calcium, which is contained in it.

Side effects: urticaria, rash, eczema, skin itch, occasionally anaphylactic shock, heaviness in the head, dizziness, sweating, visual impairment, taste change, diplopia, convulsive syndrome, thrombocytopathy, thrombocytopenic purpura.

Contraindicated drug with hypersensitivity to its components, patients under 18 years of age, breastfeeding and pregnant women. Do not appoint this drug when taking cisplatin, iron-containing drugs, magnesium, calcium. Solution for infusion is not prepared on sugar-containing solvents (glucose, fructose).

In case of an overdose, there may be vomiting, headaches. The drug "Berlion", the instruction of which forbids alcohol consumption during its reception, can cause heavy intoxication under the influence of alcoholic beverages, accompanied by stupor, excitation, convulsions, hemolysis, shock state, multi-organ failure.

This drug is stored in the dark at normal temperature: tablets and capsules - 2 years, solution and concentrate - 3 years.
