However, if the desire to become better will arise from the person himself, and it will be strong enough - anything is possible. There are many examples of this. Usually to reconsider the vital views of people cause some serious tests, which we, probably, are sent in order to improve. Not everyone teaches life, and not everyone does the right conclusions, but there are people who can cross out their past and start everything from scratch.
