Combination with thyreostatics is contraindicated during gestation in connection with the likelihood of hypothyroidism in the fetus. Treatment of patients in advanced age, suffering from coronary heart disease and severe hyperthyroidism, begin with reduced dosages. The increase in the amount of the drug taken is carried out gradually, with large intervals, under the systematic control of the hormones.
