Oblomov was not interested in anything, but his soul was open, and he was ready to borrow new impressions from life, why Oblomov's characteristic wins a little. Sleepy, he was, yes, but not drowsy. And once, looking at the tree outside the window, even experienced a shock, that's how the leaves live, blossom, and then fall off. And every leaf is part of the life of a tree, everyone needs it. Surprisingly, since Stolz, a German by birth, was the direct opposite of Oblomov, he had a business character, engaged in state-related affairs, constantly traveled with ministerial instructions abroad, led a healthy life and slept some nonsense, five to six hours a day. And here you are, Stolz with such blatant lack of restraint was a "light in the window" for Ilya Ilyich. However, all of Stoltz's attempts to make Oblomov more active, to give him movement, were safely broken against Ilya Ilyich's sofa, already pressed, but still strong. And yet one day he pulled Stolz out of his friend into the light of God and took him to visit Ilyinsky, his old acquaintances. To listen to the divine singing of Olga Sergeevna Ilyinskaya, the daughter of the owner of the house. Oblomov did not want any secular parties, and the singing of the house is even more so. But still listened to Olga singing and disappeared, fell in love. Then everything turned so that Olga fell in love with him. And he again began to invent something, all and ruined. A Oblomov, a difficult Ilya Ilyich, moved to the Vyborg Side and settled with a certain widow, who turned out to be a very spiritual and affectionate woman. Ilya Ilyich and married her. He lived seven happy years and died suddenly from a stroke, as the doctor had predicted.
