Styrofoam for today is the most popular thermal insulation material, as compared to glass wool is not so dangerous and to all this very fast in installation. Due to its low thermal conductivity, it minimizes the penetration of water and steam, while mineral wool performs well only the first function. Therefore, when installing expanded polystyrene slabs, you provide the walls with not only thermo-, but also waterproofing.
