Tell you how to create with your own hands a charming "tree of happiness" - a topiary from sisal
Sisal has long and successfully been used in floristry for the design and design of bouquets, and recently it has become an increasingly popular material for creating crafts in various areas of applied art. It is often used in the manufacture of toys, interior decorations, all sorts of souvenirs. In this article, we would like to share with you an interesting master class on making a bright and stylish topiary with the use of sisal material.
We make a beautiful topiary from sisal. What will it take to work?
In order to create an unusual and charming "tree of happiness," you will need to purchase some tools and materials, including:
- A ball (10 cm in diameter) made of foam;
- sisal;
- gypsum;
- Foam for base;
- Branch for the trunk;
- Tape for decoration of a branch;
- Decorative elements (birds, butterflies, ladybirds, artificial flowers and leaves, artificial berries and fruits);
- pot;
- Glue gun.
We decorate the topiary of sisal
To decorate the trunk of our tree, we use a ribbon or strip of beautiful cloth. We glue one edge of the segment from below, at the base of the trunk, wrap the branch and fix the other edge of the tape from above. Now proceed to decorating the tree crown. We roll balls (4 cm in diameter) from sisal and glue them with a glue gun to the foam blank. We place them sufficiently tightly so that in the crown there are no ugly lumens. Topiary from sisal (photo in the article given) can be made in one color or be multi-colored.
