Summary of Anna Snegina, analysis of the poem

Russian literature is rich in iconic persons who have made a significant contribution to the era and have influenced the whole generation. Of course, Sergei Yesenin is one of them. Many know his poems, but not all are familiar with the biography. To correct this annoying omission is quite simple. Closer to get acquainted with the wide world of the author it is possible in the book of Sergey Yesenin "Anna Snegina". The content of the work tells about a poet who visited long forgotten places, which allowed to experience a wave of not cooled down for years of feeling. The book is easy to understand and is rich in verbal verbal expressions. Now, without a dictionary, it is difficult to understand all the jargons of that time, but they have had a life-likelihood effect on the work.

Crossing characters with real people

All his characters, Sergei Esenin took from his own life experience. The prototype of Anna was Lidia Ivanovna Kashina. Other heroes do not have a complete resemblance to real people. But these are all the characters of the poet's fellow villagers. Although there is much in common between Pron Ogloblin and Peter Yakovlevich Mochalin. Two at one time were engaged in propaganda of the idea of Lenin.

This is a wonderful poem, and its author is Yesenin. "Anna Snegina" - a summary of his own period of life.

The author's personality in the work

Miller often refers to the protagonist of Sergush, and yet there is no one hundred percent coincidence between the author and his character. According to Anna's description, the portrait of the narrator is similar to the appearance of the poet. But you can not say for sure. Nevertheless, the analysis of the poem ("Anna Snegina") Yesenin can be done, relying on the fact that the book is autobiographical.

Also in one of the conversations the protagonist says that his character is due to the fact that he was born in the autumn (Sergei Alexandrovich was born on October 3). According to the poem, he comes to the village of Radovo, in reality in 1917-1918 Yesenin visited the village of Konstantinovo. Like his character, he was very tired of military events. I wanted to rest and calm my nerves, which is the easiest thing to do in the distance from the capital.

Even the brief content of Anna Snegina shows how much the author has put his own experiences in the poem.

The image of Anna Snegina

The image of the first love, Anna Snegina, is partly written off from a real woman named Lidia Ivanovna Kashina (years of life 1886-1937). Before the revolution, she lived in the village of Konstantinovo (in the poem Radovo), where the poet comes from and where the book hero came to hide from military tragedies. In 1917 her house passed into the ownership of the peasants, and Lydia Ivanovna moved to another estate. As in the parental as well as in the other house Yesenin visited often. But, most likely, the stories at the gate with a girl in a white cloak and a gentle "no" - was not. Kashina had two children who loved Sergei very much. Relations with her husband were not very close.

In 1918 Lydia moved to Moscow and worked in the capital as a stenographer. In the city they also saw each other often. Unlike Anna, Lydia did not move to London. Real Kashin is very different from the poet's fictional character, such as Anna Snegina. The analysis showed that there are many inconsistencies in the characteristics of these two figures. However, the image of the main character was mysterious and exciting.

Arrival in Radovo

From the first lines of the poem the author introduces us to the atmosphere of the village of Radovo. According to him, the village would be fond of anyone who is looking for peace and coziness. Near the forests there are a lot of water, fields and pastures, there are lands planted with poplars. In general, the peasants lived well, but the authorities eventually increased taxes.

In the village next door, Kriushi, things went worse, so the residents cut down the forest near Radowo. The two sides met, which led to bloody consequences. Since then, problems have begun in the village.

The narrator hears the news on the way.

We learn that Yesenin, from whom the narrative goes, decides to forget all the hardships of the war with a visit to the village. The summary of Anna Snegina is also the experience of the narrator. He shares his thoughts about the absurdity of war and the unwillingness to fight for merchants and to know who remain behind. Yesenin chooses another destiny for himself and is ready for another kind of courage. From now on he calls himself the first deserter.

After overpaid the author paid the cab, he goes to the mill. There, he is hospitably greeted by the owner and his wife. From their conversation we learn that Sergei came for a year. Next, she remembers a girl in a white cloak that she said "no" to the gate gently. Thus ends the first chapter of the poem.

Acquaintance of the reader with Anna

Miller calls the hero of Sergei, when he wakes him for breakfast, and he says that he is going to the landowner Snegina. Along the way, Yesenin admires the beauty of the April garden and, in addition to his will, he remembers the cripples of the war.

The author at breakfast talks to the "old woman", the wife of the miller, who is one of the characters in the poem "Anna Snegina". The summary of her monologue is a complaint about the ills that came to them after the overthrow of tsarism. The woman also remembers about a man named Pron Ogloblin. It was he who was the killer during the fight in the forest.

After conversation, the narrator decides to visit Kriushi.

On the way he meets with the miller. He says that when he shared his joy about the arrival of the guest, the young, married Anna, the daughter of the owners, was delighted. She told me that when the poet was young, he was in love with her. During this, the miller smiled cunningly, but Esenin slanderous words do not offend. Sergei thinks that it would be nice to have a small affair with a beautiful soldier.

The village of Kriushi met him with rotten houses. A dispute arose about the new laws. Sergei greeted his old friends and began to answer the questions of the peasants that were pouring down from all sides. When asked: "Who is Lenin?" - He answers: "He is you".

Feelings of Anna and Sergey

The third chapter of the poem begins with the author's poor state of health. He was delirious for several days and understood little of the guest for whom the miller went for him. When the hero came to, he realized the figure in a white dress - his old acquaintance. Further in the poem, they recall the past days, where we learn their summary. Anna Snegina was not in his life since his youth. It was with her that he sat under the gate. The woman talks about how together they dreamed of fame, Yesenin achieved his goal, and Anna forgot about dreams because of the young officer who became her husband.

Thoughts about the past do not like the poet, but he does not dare to express his point of view on the chosen topic. Smoothly Anna begins to reproach him for drinking, about which the whole country knows, asks what is their reason. Yesenin just jokes. Snegina is wondering if he likes someone, Sergei answers: "No". They parted at dawn, when in the heart of the poet the feelings that raged there at sixteen years renewed.

After a while he receives a note from Ogloblin. He calls Yesenin to go with him to Anna and ask for land. He reluctantly agrees.

In the house of Anna there was some kind of grief, which is exactly what the poet does not know. From the threshold, Ogloblin asks for land. The demand for allotment remains unanswered. Anna's mother thinks that the man came to her daughter, and invites him. Yesenin enters the room. Anna Snegina mourns her husband, who died in the war and reproaches the guest for cowardice. After such words, the poet decides to leave the woman alone with her grief and go to the tavern.

Separation of main characters

In the fourth chapter Yesenin tries to forget about Anna. But everything changes, and Ogloblin comes to power with his lazy brother. They, without losing time, describe the house of Snegins together with property and cattle. The householder takes the miller to himself. A woman apologizes for her words. The former lovers say a lot. Anna recalls the dawn that they met when they were young. The next evening the women went to an unknown destination. Sergei is leaving to dispel sadness and sleep.

Letter with hope

Then the poem "Anna Snegina" tells about six post-revolutionary years. The brief content of the subsequent events is as follows: the miller sends a letter to Yesenin, where he reports that Oglov- bina was shot by Cossacks. His brother, meanwhile, was hiding in the straw. He sincerely asks Sergei to visit him. The poet agrees and sets out on his journey. He is greeted with joy, as before.

An old friend gives him a letter with a London seal from Anna. She writes simply and ironically, but through the text the poet catches her feelings of love. Yesenin goes to sleep and looks again, like so many years ago, at the gate, where once a girl in a white cloak said affectionately "no." But this time Sergei Alexandrovich concludes that in those years we loved, but it turns out that they loved us.

Themes

The summary of Anna Snegina, which was presented above, shows how clearly the author reflected the problems of the society of that time and his youthful experiences. At that time he was troubled by the fate of Russia and its inhabitants.

Events in the work begin in 1917. The last, fifth chapter is dated 1923. A striking accent is the war between the two villages in the poem, which is interpreted as civil. It is possible to draw a parallel between the estate of the Snegins and the authorities, this symbolizes the failure of tsarism.

And although in a letter to a friend, Sergei Yesenin wrote that he is experiencing a creative crisis, and his muse left, yet the work of Anna Snegina can easily be attributed to the "pearls" of Russian literature.
