Station "Tsaritsyno" - the metro with its history

Now you rarely meet someone who has never heard of such stops in the Moscow subway as "Revolution Square", "Vorobyovy Gory", "Tsvetnoy Boulevard", "Arbatskaya", "Tsaritsyno". Metro in Moscow in general enjoys a huge popularity, both with the Muscovites themselves and with the guests of the capital, but still some stations are considered more in demand.

Why? The reasons can be found abound. For example, for the first four of the above, tourists come to visit in order to get acquainted with local places of interest, but the residents of the capital, especially on warm days, adore the park "Tsaritsyno" (the metro located here has the same name).

Just about the last metro station we will talk today. What is its history? Does it have any unique features that make it unlike everyone else?

Section 1. Features of the location

The metro station "Tsaritsyno" is an intermediate station on the Zamoskvoretskaya line of the Moscow metro. In principle, anyone who has at least a superficial idea of the city, knows that it is located in the same district, which is part of the Southern Administrative District of the capital.

Section 2. Station History and Titles

The station "Tsaritsyno" - the metro, which was opened on the site "Kashirskaya" - "Orekhovo" just on the eve of the coming new 1985 year. Now very few people remember that this opening ceremony fell into the plots of New Year's TV programs. Everything was festive and pathetic.

However, on January 1, the station was temporarily suspended. The fact is that on the segment "Tsaritsyno" - "Orekhovo" flood happened, which had to be immediately eliminated. The train driver noticed on an early morning that the tunnel wall was cracking right in front of him. Victims, fortunately, were not, but the repair was dragged on for almost a month. Again, the trains went on this site only on February 9. In general, it should be noted that different rumors are associated with the metro line segment near the Tsaritsyno station, since the number of emergency incidents in this region is much larger than in others.

Today's name of the station was planned initially, at the design stage. In another way, it simply could not be, because close to it there are cozy Tsaritsynsky Park and a stunning historical museum with the same name.

Nevertheless, since in the 80 years of the last century a huge residential area called Lenino-Dachnoe was rapidly developing nearby, the stations were named "Lenino".

The current name was assigned to the station on November 5, 1990. In the process of renaming they decided to use some letters of the old inscription, and if you look closely, you can see that the letters "I", "H" and "O", located above the central entrance, Others.

Section 3. Attractions and ground infrastructure

As already reported above, the Metro "Tsaritsyno" (the map shows it perfectly: one of the stops on a green branch) is very popular.

All this is observed thanks to the monuments of architecture, located on the surface. One of the attractions, which, by the way, the station owes its today name - is the palace complex "Tsaritsyno", which was laid under Empress Catherine II. However, its construction was completed only at the beginning of the XIX century.

In general, it should be noted that the complex's park stretches between the metro stations Tsaritsyno and Orekhovo, but still the main one, or, as it is called, central, the entrance is just near the first.

Muscovites and guests of the capital like to visit the famous pavilion, which is called "Golden Sheaf" or "Temple of Ceres". By the way, during the revolutionary years it was destroyed halfway and restored only after a large-scale restoration.

The alleys also had to be reconstructed. After the completion of all repair work, it was decided to install several sculptures in the park.

Station "Tsaritsyno" - the metro is unusual. It can acquaint all those who wish with the remnants of the distant past. Although the ruins of the tower are the only partially preserved structures, they can be regarded as quite original examples of the park architecture of the complex.

Behind the grape gate is a building that is decorated with two-headed imperial eagles. This is the middle palace, still called the opera house. By the way, today it often hosts concerts.

Section 4. Useful information and interesting facts

Moscow Metro is rightfully considered one of the most convenient and technically equipped in the world. The metro station Tsaritsyno is no exception. Moscow, it seems, does everything possible and impossible for the passenger to reach his destination with maximum comfort.

For visitors, the building opens at 5:30 in the morning. The work ends at 1 am.

There is a mobile connection on the territory of the station. Operators of MTS, Beeline and Megafon are supported.

The entire area of Tsaritsyno, in which the station of the same name is located, is located in the zone of geopathic anomaly. For reasons that are unexplained for the time being, it is in this area that the most frequent problems are related to power supply and flooding.

According to some researchers, this is a geopathogenic zone of natural origin, and all the so-called mysterious events occur due to the movement of water currents along the zones of disruption and once buried channels. Employees of a complex of gardens and parks note that during working hours, being on the territory, feel as if in a different world.

Section 5. Prospects of development

In the passage behind the turnstiles there is a glass translucent door, which leads to the so far inactive east exit. Outside, a stepped descent is visible. It is covered with an iron plate from above. Some sources reported that it was planned to organize a bus stop, the final one for flights to Biryulyovo. Later the project was canceled, but there is a possibility that they will return to this idea.
