The history of the founding of the village Starokorsunskaya (Krasnodar region)

The first forty settlements of the Kuban Cossacks were founded in 1794. Among them was the Korsun indigenous village. After 15 years the village got a new name - Starokorsunskoe. The matter is that the Novokorsun village was founded nearby.

School number 86 on the territory of the village appeared in 1867. Founded her Cossack Ivan Selyavkin. Before the war the school was preschool, after it received the status of a seven-year. An interesting story and the school number 85: originally it was a female primary school. It came about thanks to the initiative of the constable Vasily Dzyuk. In August 1917, on the site of the school opened a school of working youth. Then the school was assigned No. 85.

In March 1918, the Council of People's Deputies began to operate in the village of Starokorsunskaya of the Krasnodar Territory. He was led by the Cossack Elisey Lutsenko. Two years later, the first Komsomol cell appeared on the territory of the village.

There were many collective farms in the village. But with planned volumes they could not cope, but because in 1932 they were listed in the Blackboards. To the guilty, severe sanctions were applied - collective farm workers, residents of the village of Starokorsunskaya Krasnodar Territory were deprived of prizes, many were shot. Many foodstuffs were not delivered to the village. Because of the famine, hundreds of people died here.

The village in the war years

August 10, 1942 Starokorsunskaya was captured by German troops. The occupation lasted until mid-February 1943. In the battles for the liberation of the Kuban in general and this village in particular, the 40th motorized rifle brigade was distinguished. As a tribute to the memory of motorized rifles, and in general to all the soldiers who forged the Victory, in 2010 an obelisk dedicated to the defenders of the Motherland was erected on the territory of the school No. 86 in the Starokorsun village of the Krasnodar Territory.

Population of the village

Initially, the population of this village was represented by a small group of Cossacks. They were led by the army ataman Zachary Chepiga. By 1916 there already lived more than 13 thousand people. According to the 2010 census, there are 12,238 people living here.

In March 2004, this settlement became the center of the Starokorsunsky rural district, which included two more territories.

Today in this unique Krasnodar village there are four kindergartens, two schools. There are hospitals, polyclinics, pharmacies. Developed in Starokorsun and cultural life - it is represented by a house of culture, parks, a school of arts and a library. In addition, there is an Orthodox church here. And, of course, as in any settlement, there are a lot of shops in the village, there is a bank branch, a post office.

Minuses

The only drawback of this territory is the unpleasant smell coming from the poultry farm. For growing broilers, special feeds are used, so the birds' litter has a sharp unpleasant odor.

True, local residents say that the miasma can only be heard when the wind blows from the poultry farm towards the village. This happens, according to the population Starokorsunskaya, not so often.

The real estate market of the village Starokorsunskaya of the Krasnodar Territory is for the most part represented by the private sector. There are old houses here, and new ones.
