The temple, in spite of its remoteness from the center of the state, is well studied and popular because of the architecture. And its remote location from civilization contributed to the fact that it is not bad enough preserved.

Presumably the church was built in 450 BC. In the late 18th century, the temple was discovered by an architect from France, and then began a thorough excavation.

Sights of Greece - this is Nafplion, which was the first capital of Greece, which gained independence. She became famous for the fortress of Palamidi and the picturesque Venetian castle. It is from here that many excursions to the ancient places of Greece begin.

30 km from Nafplion, there is Epidaurus - famous for the sanctuary of Aesculapius, which was considered by the Greeks as the god of healing. In Epidaurus there was a theater, which contained a huge number of viewers at that time - more than 14 thousand. Until now, real dramas of ancient Greece are being played here on Fridays.

Opposite the city of Gefir, in the sea, on a huge rock there is a fortress of Monemvasia, which has survived to our days. And in the former Byzantine houses are located fashionable hotels, which hospitably receive guests from all over the world.
