Pogodin Nikolai Fedorovich, biography: the beginning

Pogodin is a literary pseudonym. The real name of this man is Stukalov.

He was born in 1900, on November 16, in Gundorovskaya stanitsa (now Donetsk in the Rostov region). The boy was born into a family of peasants, spent all his childhood with his mother. The woman earned a living by sewing.

Nikolai Fedorovich Pogodin began to work early to help his mother. He was engaged in plumbing and binding skills. At the age of 20 began to write.

Nikolai Fedorovich Pogodin: biography of the playwright

His first plays Pogodin created, traveling around the country. He visited factories, got acquainted with the workers and their work. These trips were accessible to him at the expense of the correspondent-essayist in "Molot" and "Pravda".

The playwright Nikolai Fedorovich Pogodin drew information for his stories from the results of the revolution and a complete reshuffle in the structure of power. This was a new trend in the famous drama due to the peculiar style of writing and, of course, the situation in the country.

Other famous playwrights of that time focused attention on the struggle of "their" and "others", on White Guards and Red Army men. Pogodin Nikolai Fedorovich also tried to describe in concrete terms the "pathos of mastering new plants", the practice of socialist construction.

Heroes of Pogodin's works

The heroes of Pogodin's works are not representatives of the authorities, not kings, not brave soldiers or traitors to the homeland, but the most ordinary people, such as we are.

In "Poem about an ax" the most ordinary workers became the heroes - Anna and Stepan. This couple worked at the Zlatoust plant, which extracted and processed stainless steel. The poem tells about the struggle for this expensive raw materials.

In "Tempe" Nikolai Fedorovich told the story of the construction of the Stalingrad plant for the manufacture of tractors.

The difficulties, problems and successes of the Soviet expedition were preserved in "Snow", "My friend" told how the newly built factory was built and mastered, "After the Ball" - a story about simple collective farmers who tried to learn to live in a new way.

The book "The Aristocrats" became the most notorious work. In it, Nikolai Fyodorovich Pogodin described in detail how people were "forged" on the construction of the White Sea canal.

All the works show the victories and failures in the construction of a new country of ordinary citizens. It is a question of how important socialism is for every person. Dramatically painted, how this very socialism enters not only into houses, but also into the souls of people. They believe in their work and do everything to achieve results.

Advantages of Pogodin's plays

Each reader of the plays, written by Nikolai Fyodorovich Pogodin, undoubtedly noted a number of merits of these works.

Here there is not only a dramatic plot, which is put in the basis, but also a subtle humor of the playwright. He did not dwell on the problems of the complexity of life and failures. He knew these incidents so to show that a smile in itself appears on the face, even from the most suspicious person.

In the works of Pogodin there is not a drop of fiction and exaggeration. He took everything from real situations and real, not fictional, lives of people of that difficult time.

Negative aspects of works

In the early works, one can also note shortcomings. This is primarily a careless, non-fiction language. Nikolai Fyodorovich Pogodin was afraid, and simply could not afford even a drop of fiction.

Due to the fear of even a little imagination, the first works turned out to be purely newspaper and news. They are not so interesting to study a simple person, because people do not need heavy thoughts, they just want to relax while reading the next book.

Also in the works you can notice a series of events and moments that are not related to each other and do not benefit the whole play.

Over time, Nikolai Fedorovich from an inept essayist became a true master. He began to contribute to his works only the necessary information, he was able to describe it beautifully and present it to the reader. No, he did not distort reality at all, he also did not invent anything, just could describe all the actions in a special way.

Humor Pogodin in works

Each work of the playwright Pogodin tried to make it more easy and readable, not so dull. He diluted sometimes sad events with humor.

This humor to many may seem rude and even "black". But if you think about it, how else could a man joke in the revolution? When every wrong step or mockery of an official could cause a link or worse.

In fact, the humor of Pogodin for those times was not rude. These were usual friendly ridicule and mockery, but we do not understand this anymore, we did not live at that time. People of those years would not understand our humor either.

To understand Pogodin, you need to understand the events of the early twentieth century, plunge into them, even a little history. Reading the first works of Pogodin, albeit a little clumsy work, you will be able to appreciate his subsequent.
