Savchenko Sergey: rapid take-off and tragic finale

Sergei Savchenko - a vivid football player of perestroika times. His career began to go uphill in the late 80's. During these years he managed to play in the Higher League of the USSR Championship, and after the collapse of the Soviet Union tried to continue his career in foreign clubs in Eastern Europe, but eventually settled in Moldova. Early career

Footballer Savchenko Sergei was born in Yampol (Vinnytsia region, Ukraine). The first professional club in his career was Nistru (Chisinau). In the team, he made his debut at age 17 on the position of midfielder. In those years, he managed to play in the youth team of the USSR, but was no longer invited to the older teams.

After several successful seasons, Savchenko received an invitation from the capital's CSKA. In the army club arrived in the 85th. The team played in the First League. Sergei helped to win gold medals.

The next year Savchenko Sergey together with the team made his debut in the Major League. In the early 90's Savchenko briefly went to the Polish club "Spomosh", then played in Ukraine in Zaporozhye Torpedo and Romanian Olimpia, but eventually returned to Moldova. Acted in the "Constructor", "Nistru", "Zimbru".

In 1994, one year, Sergei performed in Russia in the Ramenskoye "Saturn". The Moscow Region club played at that time in the third division. He conducted it very successfully, won 35 matches from 46 and took second place, getting a ticket to the second division. Savchenko Sergei spent 17 matches on the field, marking with three goals scored.

The footballer finished his career in 1997 in Chisinau Zimbru.

The tragic ending

Leaving the big football, Savchenko Sergey Viktorovich worked in the Moldavian Football Federation and the Beach Soccer Association and was a multiple participant in the matches of veterans.
