Evgeny Rylov, whose biography is presented in this article, is rightly considered the rising star of Russian navigation. The 20-year-old sportsman is a prize-winner of the Olympic Games and the World Cup, as well as a three-time winner of the national championship.

Biography of the athlete

Evgeny Rylov was born in September 1996 in the city of Novotroitsk, which is located in the Orenburg region.

Because his father played for different football teams, the family often changed their place of residence. When he was ten years old, he was in the Moscow region of Fryazino, and then in Vidnoye.

First Sports Steps

Parents were brought to the swimming pool for the first time as the winner of the Olympic Games on the advice of doctors at the age of six. Almost from the first lesson, Yevgeny Rylov was very keen on swimming. Training took place in the Novotroitsk basin "Wave", and the first coach of the young athlete was Shishin Andrey Gennadievich.

After moving to the Moscow region, the classes did not stop. A new place for training was the Wellness and Education Center "Dolphin". Eugene's mentors at this time were Gulnara Romanadze, and then again Andrei Shishin. The crown discipline of Rylov is swimming on the back at distances of 100 and 200 meters.

The first sporting success was the prize-winning place at the Summer Spartakiade among pupils, taking place in 2011. At the age of 16, Evgeny Rylov became the winner and prize-winner of the championship of the Moscow region. In 2013, he repeats his achievements at this tournament and sets new youth national records at a hundred and two hundred meters distance in swimming on his back. These indicators allowed him to fulfill the sport master's standard in 16 years.

Achievements in professional sports

Before the start of the summer youth Olympics, which took place in 2014 in the Chinese city of Nanjing, coaches placed high hopes on the 18-year-old swimmer. And he did not let them down. Evgeny Rylov became the three-time winner of the most prestigious youth tournament of the planet. At the same time, he established two new achievements: at a distance of 100 meters on the back, the swimmer updated the youthful record of Russia, and on the 50-meter mark of the world.

The year 2015 brought Rylov a new achievement. As a member of the Russian national team, he took part in the World Championships in Kazan, where he managed to win a bronze medal in the fight against the strongest swimmers of the planet.

At the Olympics in Rio 19-year-old Rylov rode as a "dark horse." Opponents were afraid of Eugene, but doubted his successful performance.

But the Russian athlete from the very first qualifying swim showed everyone their serious intentions. In the finals, he made his way with the sixth time.

And here it is - a medal swim for 200 meters on the back. Yevgeny Rylov finished third, at least giving way to the famous Ryan Murphy from the US and Australian Mitch Larkin.

Now the newly minted bronze medalist of the Olympiad is preparing intensively for new international competitions, in parallel with this carrying a service in law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation.
