Pumpkin stew

Pumpkin is not just a tasty dish, but also very useful. That's why I wanted to present some good recipes for its preparation. It should be noted that dishes from pumpkins are prepared quickly enough and do not require special skills and knowledge in cooking.

Pumpkin stewed with carrots with turmeric and pomegranate

To prepare you need:

  • Pumpkin - 0.6 kg;
  • Carrots - a few pieces;
  • Couscous - 2 glasses;
  • Boiling water - 4 glasses;
  • Garnet - half a glass of grains;
  • salt;
  • Bay leaf, bell pepper, dried fennel, olive oil, turmeric.

Initially, it is necessary to clean the pumpkin and cut it into cubes. Then a little fry with carrots in olive oil and pour water so that the liquid covers the vegetables. Then add bay leaf, salt, pepper and all to extinguish until the products are ready. Meanwhile pour couscous with boiling water, sprinkle with salt, pepper and add a little turmeric. Now cover with a lid and allow to stand until the water is completely absorbed. When couscous is cooked, it is necessary to add olive oil and mix it. Couscous is laid out by a pyramid, from above we place a stewed pumpkin with carrots and sprinkle everything with dill. The dish is served warm.

Pumpkin stew with carrots

  • Pumpkin - 1 piece of a small size;
  • Carrots - 4-5 pieces;
  • Tomato paste - 3 tablespoons;
  • olive oil.

To begin with, it is necessary to distribute the carrots with straws in the pan, then put everything in the multivark. Then in the same frying pan, the onion is sliced to a golden crust and also folded into a multivark. Now cleanse the pumpkin from the seeds and peel and cut it into cubes. After that, send also to the multivark. Sprinkle all the vegetables with spices, dill, parsley, basil, pepper ground, salt and add tomato paste. Thoroughly mix everything and add a little water. We put on the quenching regime for an hour and a half. Then let us brew in the heating mode for another half hour.

Preparation of pumpkin with cereal

Ingredients:

  • Pumpkin - 240 g;
  • salt;
  • Cereals - 60 g;
  • butter;
  • Milk - 120 g;
  • Water 170 ml;
  • Sugar syrup - 20 g.

Pumpkin should be washed and cleaned, then cut into pieces, then pour boiling water and add sugar syrup to it. Now put it out for half an hour. Then pour the rump to the pumpkin (you can take millet, semolina, rice). Now pour the milk hot and put out for another 38 minutes. Add salt, add butter and bring to a boil. Tasty, healthy and nutritious pumpkin stew ready!

Pumpkin stew with chicken

Food for cooking:

  • Pumpkin - half;
  • Chicken legs - 270 g;
  • Onion - 2 pieces;
  • Sugar - 1 teaspoon of ch.
  • vegetable oil;
  • Rice vodka - 1 table spoon;
  • Soy sauce.

Pumpkin should be cut into pieces without removing the peel. Onions are also pieces. Chicken legs marinate in vodka rice for about 18 minutes. Then add soy sauce, sugar, water and stew in the prepared marinade. Now fry the onion in a frying pan in oil, add pumpkin, salt, water to it and cook until ready. Now put the stewed chicken on the pumpkin and mix it. Garnish with chopped greens. It turns out that a pumpkin with a chicken is very fragrant and tasty.

Pumpkin braised in Brazilian style

  • Pumpkin - 0.6 kg;
  • Butter - 2 tablespoons;
  • Garlic - a pair of lobules;
  • green onion;
  • salt pepper.

Pumpkin peel, seeds and cut into cubes. Onions and garlic finely chopped. Put the pumpkin, garlic, butter, onion and stew on a small fire for about 12 minutes. Then reduce the heat and simmer under the lid until the pumpkin is cooked. Then add pepper, salt. Serve the dish hot.

Pumpkin, stewed with vegetables and bacon in Hungarian style

Products for cooking:

  • Pumpkin - 1.2 kg;
  • Bulgarian pepper - 2 pieces;
  • Pork fat - 120 g;
  • Onion - 1 piece;
  • Meat broth - 1 glass;
  • Sour cream - 1 glass;
  • Flour - 2 tablespoons;
  • Dill dry - 3 tablespoons;
  • salt.

Initially, it is necessary to chop the lard and fry it a little in a pan together with chopped onions until a golden crust is formed. Gourd pumpkin, cut into small cubes. Cut the pepper into strips and add it along with the pumpkin to the fried salad. Pour in broth, add salt and cook until ready. Then add flour and a little more put out. When serving, sour cream and greens are added to the dish.
