Project in primary school

The system of modern education is filled with newfangled novelties, which are generated by a variety of innovative techniques and authoring programs. Of course, there are problems in school education, and they are known to everyone. This is the lack of a full-fledged methodological base in the education system, with complete reluctance to follow the old Soviet one. And the minimum financial support for the industry, which is reflected both in the lack of material resources, and in the shortage of high-quality specialist teachers.

Features of the inclusion of projects in pedagogical practice

It should be noted that some freedom of creativity, gifted to modern teachers, has a wide range of positive features. First of all, these are already noted innovative methods, author's programs of early development and so on. One of the brainchild of this approach was a research project in primary school. Collective projects are perfectly applicable to subjects of various subjects - from mathematics to rhetoric. Of course, the project in primary school is a simple scientific research. However, pedagogical practice demonstrates that giving children opportunities for creative search and implementation of research impulses has the most favorable effect on the ability to think critically, to take arguments and draw conclusions.

A project in an elementary school is a simple, easy-to-find explanation of simple things. For example, why does a giraffe need a long neck, and a hedgehog - sharp spines? Or practical projects for growing flowers. In addition to the development of mental processes, the project in primary school is also the development of literate speech, individual and team work, the formation of adequate self-esteem. The unity of school teams working together on projects is dramatically increasing.

Project in primary school and its stages

Any project is always divided into certain pieces of work. A feature of such work in the junior classes is mainly the active participation and assistance of the teacher in the project, his guiding hand.

To split the project in an elementary school it is possible on following stages:

1) Motivation. This is an extremely important stage for any assignment in the primary and secondary classes. Often pupils are not yet aware of themselves, why they need to come to school every day and carry out the tasks of the teacher. Thus, for these tasks to be performed in good faith, they must become interesting and desirable for the students. The aim of the project is to cause the curiosity of young researchers.

2) Planning. Of course, without effective planning, no effective activity is possible. And it will be useful for the pupils to understand this in elementary school.

3) Collection and processing of information. The most important part of the study. The lion's share of useful skills is formed precisely at this stage, and the control of the teacher is especially necessary.

4) Protection of the project. Formation of the skills of how to demonstrate their achievements and maximally correctly state their conclusions. By the way, to help such projects in the final stage of protection often comes another discipline, introduced in many schools already with junior classes - computer science. In primary school, the projects presented with bright and colorful images on the computer are much more attractive for other students who did not participate in the process.
