But not only fresh berry is used, it produces amazing sweet desserts, jam, fruit drinks, jam, salads, pickles - the entire list of dishes can be easily prepared at home even without being a great culinary. Very delicious are watermelon marinated, today we will describe simple and quick recipes.

They are harvested at the end of summer and wrapped in jars to enjoy the sweet and sour taste of fruits in the winter. As a brine, you can use sugar syrup, water or can preserve them in your own juice - the twists are perfect for any side dish and as an independent dish. Also, pickled watermelons are prepared with the addition of marinade, like the one we make for cucumbers. The taste qualities of the dish are very pleasant and spicy.

The process of preparation is easy enough and practically does not differ from the way of harvesting other fruits and vegetables. Before you make watermelon pickled, you need to buy fruits of medium maturity in order to ensure that the berries under the marinade do not turn into a mess. Let's move on to the recipe.

Components for 3-liter containers, you can do a smaller amount:

  • Immature thin watermelon;
  • liter of water;
  • Cardamom (three grains);
  • Laurushka (3 leaves);
  • Pepper peas (5-10 pieces);
  • Garlic (5 denticles);
  • Vinegar (10 grams - a tablespoon);
  • 10 grams of sugar and salt.

We wash the berry with water, cut both stems and inflorescences. We leave the rind. Cut into small squares so that they fit in the jar - seeds do not remove.

In pre-sterilized containers put a laurel, pepper, cardamom and garlic. Spoon the watermelon slices in dense rows.

In the center of the jar we pour boiling water. Cover the lid, which also needs to be sterilized. Tara cover with a towel and let it sit for about 10 minutes.

After a certain time, we drain the brine, add sugar and salt to it - boil for 5-7 minutes. Next, pour in the vinegar. Ready marinade pour the berry and spin. Turn over the cans, cover with a cloth and leave to cool. Marinated watermelons in cans are stored in a cellar or cellar. Crispy lobules decorate the table and become an excellent snack.

Watermelon, pickled with spices

Ingredients:

  • One watermelon:
  • Cinnamon (at the tip of the knife);
  • Sugar and salt 10 grams each;
  • Laurushka (3 leaves);
  • Vinegar (20 g.);
  • Red pepper - pinch.

In the sterilized jars, a sliced watermelon is laid - from the peel and seeds, do not clean. In the container we put all the spices and pour steep boiling water. Cover with a lid and leave to marinate for two days. After a few days, you can serve a marinated watermelon on the table. The recipe is not difficult at all and does not require much time and effort.

Winter billets can be made not only from pulp, but also from watermelon crusts. This will require about three glasses of crusts, sugar to taste, mustard - a dessert spoon. In addition, take apple cider vinegar (10 g), ginger ground (5 g), turmeric (teaspoon) and a little salt.

Finely chop the peel and boil for 5 minutes. Drain the water. The listed spices to pass on a frying pan, then add to them boiled crusts and put out half an hour. Use in a refrigerated state.
