Pork, despite the protests of nutritionists, remains the favorite meat of the main population of Russia. Fried on skewers or in a grill, baked in the oven or stewed with potatoes, she rarely leaves anyone indifferent. Pork dishes in the oven always turn out to be full, hearty, delicious.

Pork steaks are prepared quickly, but they have a remarkable taste, so they are so popular in Russia and in other countries.

Steak in English is a piece. Therefore, in order to prepare a pork steak in the oven, first of all, you need a piece of tenderloin. It is cut into slices about two centimeters thick. Slices are sprinkled with chopped onions, pepper, salt, sprinkled with plain or fruit vinegar. Everything is carefully pinched by hands so that the juice appears.

Now you need to leave the marinated pieces for two hours. Then the meat is spread on a grate, which is installed on a baking sheet. To make it easier to wash the baking sheet from the fat that will drip from the grate, you can use foil. On top of the meat spread the crushed lard, bake in a very hot oven. After about a quarter of an hour, the fat is removed, the meat is turned over, the same fat is placed on top. In a quarter of an hour, juicy steaks are ready.

No less tasty is the entrecote of pork in the oven. Entrecote called meat, cut from the sides of the animal between the ribs and the ridge. Previously, the concept applied only to beef, but today the phrase "entrecote from pork" is quite appropriate. In addition, the word "entrecote" can designate any chop, cooked from a whole piece of meat.

To make a pork entrecote, a piece of pork, preferably on a rib, is beaten slightly, fried until golden. Brown chops are greased with a lezon made from an egg with butter, sprinkled with white breadcrumbs, put into the oven. If the meat is not old, it will not take more than 20 minutes to prepare. Served with entrecote with a garnish of fresh vegetables or peas.

Pork dishes in the oven are good because they do not require much trouble. Here, for example, a recipe with potatoes and mushrooms. Meat is roasted to crust, using a small amount of vegetable oil. Place on the brazier, moistened with oil. Over spread large potato slices, sprinkle with mushrooms, overcooked with onions, smeared with sour cream or mayonnaise. Lovers can sprinkle a dish with grated cheese, but this is not necessary. Bake for about half an hour.

However, the dishes from the pork in the oven can be more exotic. To prepare bacon with pineapple, honey, prunes it will be required:

• One and a half kilograms of tenderloin;

• 300 g of prunes;

• 2 tablespoons of honey;

• can of canned pineapple (or 1 fresh);

• one large apple;

• bow;

• 200 grams of fat, better smoked;

• half a glass of white dry wine;

• garlic;

• salt pepper.

Cut the cut into large thin pieces, rub it with crushed garlic, sprinkle with onions, pour wine, leave overnight. In the morning from pineapple, half of prunes, honey, apple to cook mashed potatoes. Pour off the beaten meat with the prepared mashed potatoes, roll up the rolls, wrap them with slices of smoked bacon. Fold in a stewpan. Mix the liquid in which mashed potatoes, and a half prunes, add the garlic, flour, boil to make a sauce. It is salted to taste, poured into meat. Stew in the oven until cooked.

Pork dishes in the oven are good because the ways of preparing them can vary. For example, meat with pineapple can be made easier. Pieces of pineapple, meat, which you need to salt, prunes are laid out on the baking tray. All this is poured with sour cream, mixed with grated apple and honey, sprinkled with pepper, grated cheese. It is baked for about half an hour. Sweet and sour dish is well combined with a garnish of potatoes.
