Peter Aleinikov: biography, filmography

Peter Aleinikov is a famous Soviet actor of the middle of the last century. Date of birth - 12.07.1914. Place of birth - Mogilev province, village Krivel.

Difficult childhood

Peter Aleinikov remained an orphan in 1920. First, rafting the forest along the river, his father was killed, and almost after the mother died. And after 12 years, in 1932, the death took sister Katerina and brother Nikolai.

But even before the death of his brother and sister, Peter often left home. He wandered the streets, begging. Later, little Petya goes to Shklov boarding school. It was there that he, as a child, began to think about the acting profession. The fact is that Peter often visited the local projectionist, who told him how films are created and recorded and how the image is then projected onto the screen. From that moment the boy had a dream: he decided to become an artist. Petya sincerely believed that someday it will come true, but for this it is necessary to get to the capital. The dreamer escapes from the orphanage and sits down on one of the trains. But to reach the capital this time he was not destined. At one of the stations he was caught. After this incident, Peter is identified in the Barsukovskaya child labor colony. There he enjoyed visiting the drama club, in which he played his first roles.

Studying at the Institute of Performing Arts

The next stop on the life path of the future artist was Mogilev commune. Decades of the October Revolution. There he himself initiated the creation of a dramatic circle, the repertoire for which he chose independently.

In 1930, receiving a letter of recommendation from the administration of the commune, 16-year-old Peter Aleinikov arrives in Leningrad. There he successfully entered the Institute of Performing Arts. At the cinema faculty Aleinikov studied with the well-known director Sergei Gerasimov. The mentor already then tried to support his students and gave them the opportunity to show their acting skills in their own films.

First love

Petr Aleinikov, whose biography as a movie actor began exactly in the films of Gerasimov, met his first love on the set. He casually falls in love with his partner, the beginning actress Tamara Makarova. However, the young man did not dare to speak about his feelings, silently transferring his love afflictions. As a result, Tamara is getting married, but not for Aleinikov, but for Gerasimov. Heartbroken Peter flooded the problems with alcohol, which ended in a long drinking-bout. He could not continue shooting and left the site.

First roles

The first episodic role Peter Aleinikov played in the films "Counter" and "Peasants." But the real triumph was for him the role of Petka Molibog in the film of the same Gerasimov "Seven brave", which was released on the screen in 1936. The plot of the picture tells of a group of young polar explorers who persistently and courageously mastered the Far North. It is interesting that his partner was the same Tamara Makarova. In order to recreate the real picture of events, the film crew traveled a lot of unexplored places. The actors climbed the glaciers of Elbrus, spent the winter on the islands in the Barents Sea, practiced skiing and parachuting in the Khibiny Mountains.

"Tractor drivers"

Later, already married Peter Aleinikov, the actor at that time already famous, is removed in the cult musical comedy "Tractor". After the premiere, the main actors Andreev and Aleinikov became almost the most popular artists of the country. Unrestrained and popular adoration addressed to two friends, helped them in many delicate situations. It was said that once in Kiev, after being pretty drunk, Aleinikov and Andreev did not reach the hotel where they lived, and spent the night not somewhere, but in the window of the furniture store where the exhibition sofa was standing. In the morning they woke up already in the bullpen. Strict on duty artists recognized, but the protocol still was going to issue. After inconclusive persuasion, angry Andreev overturned the inkwell on the drawn up protocol. Have called the chief. He came, and not alone, but with a whole host of relatives and friends. After which the detention smoothly flowed into the feast with songs and dances.

Peter Aleinikov, whose filmography continued as the main role in the adaptation of Ershov's fairy tale "The Humpbacked Horse", becomes a popular favorite. It is interesting that in this picture he was shooting with his wife Valentina and little son Taras.

Terrible disease

In 1946, he was offered the role of Vanya Kursky in the film "Big Life". He agreed. The film was successful.

And these are the typical roles that Petr Martynovich could perform very much, if not for his addiction to alcohol. His talent and merits were crossed out by completely inadequate behavior, which he repeatedly demonstrated on the set. He stopped being invited, because he could not come to rehearsals, to shoot, or even go into a booze and do not know where.

Alcoholism greatly undermined the health of the artist. Frequent use of alcohol provoked the appearance of a variety of diseases of the heart, blood vessels, musculoskeletal system. And in the early 60-ies due to progressive wet pleurisy, one lung failed, as a result of which it had to be removed.

In 1955, the beginning director S. Rostotsky began to shoot his first picture "The Earth and People." At his own risk and risk, he invited one of the roles to Aleinikov, who by that time had not acted in film for several years. Pyotr Martynovich promised to the director that he would not drink or let him down. The artist fulfilled his promise, but after filming again took up the old and went into a long drinking. The disease finally swallowed him up. From the family, Aleinikov left, completely forgetting about his wife and children (besides his son, he had Arin's youngest daughter). Lived unknown where, as a rule, these were apartments of completely foreign people who, like him, were imprisoned in a terrible disease - alcoholism.

His last work was participation in the film "The Thirst Quenching". Then, a few months before his death, he seemed to prove goodbye to what is really a talented and reliable actor. He did not drink, he worked on the set for 12 hours, striking everyone with his diligence.

But the exhausted body could not stand it. Peter Aleinikov - an actor whose biography proves the tragic consequences of alcohol abuse - died June 9, 1965. His body rests on the Novodevichye cemetery.
