Pension certificate will ensure old age

The pension of the elderly in Russia is formed from the moment the young man gets to work. By paying pension contributions, we thereby form a pension fund. And how we will live in old age depends on how we will work in our youth.

Every working person is required to have a pension certificate, which gives him the right to receive a pension in the future. Get it, he can in two ways: with the help of the employer or independently.

Those who first start working can get a pension certificate through their employer. When starting work, a questionnaire is filled in according to the beginning worker, which is later transferred to the Pension Fund. He, in turn, opens an account to the employee with a permanent insurance number and makes a pension insurance certificate. From that moment on, everyone working is on a personalized account, where information on the payment of insurance contributions, work experience, etc. is reflected.
If the employee has some work experience, then when applying for a job, he is obliged, according to the Law of the Russian Federation "On individual (personified) registration in the mandatory pension insurance system," to present his pension certificate to the employer. If such a certificate is not available and has never been issued before, its registration becomes the employer's responsibility. If it was previously issued, but lost or damaged, then the restoration of this important document lies entirely on the employee himself.
Every citizen of the Russian Federation needs to know that the pension certificate number is assigned individually, and even if the duplicate is received, it does not change.
What should be done to keep the pension certificate in your pocket?
Step 1. If you are the most ordinary employee and are officially employed for the first time, then, practically, you really do not have to do anything. Only it is necessary to fill out a special questionnaire, which, by the way, the employer should give you, and wait for the receipt of the document.
Step 2. If you are an employer, then you must obtain a pension certificate for your employee. This implies that within two weeks after the conclusion of the contract with the employee, you must give him a special form, provided to you as an insurer. The application form must be filled out with full responsibility and authentically certified by the employee. If, for some reason, the employee can not reassure his application form even after a month, you can assure her by the employer, specifying the reason why the employee himself could not do it.
Step 3. The employer must provide the Pension Fund with a special form for the inventory of documents.
Step 4. With the questionnaire of the employee and a special list of documents, the employer applies to the Pension Fund. There he is assigned a date when the outcome of the examination of documents will be ready. According to the order of implementation of administrative procedures, the period for consideration of documents should not exceed 3 weeks. Officials working in the Pension Fund have the right to clarify the necessary data. Cases of refusal to receive this document are possible if the pension certificate has already been issued. This document and the accompanying statement must be issued to the employee within a week, as indicated by the signature of the employee in the accompanying statement.
In order to receive a pension insurance certificate independently , a person must apply to the Pension Fund at the place of his registration and fill out a questionnaire. You must always have a passport or other identification document with you. In two weeks you can get a certificate on your hands.

And how to restore the pension certificate, which was previously issued?
According to the Federal Law, a person who lost this document may receive a duplicate in the organs of the Pension Fund. To do this, it is necessary within one month to apply for a duplicate.
A duplicate of the certificate is issued if:

1. You are a working person.
2. You are just an individual and independently, on your own initiative, pay contributions to the local branch of the Pension Fund.
3. You, according to the civil-law or employment contract, do not work, are not registered as an insurer.

The decision to issue a duplicate certificate is made after submitting the application within a month.
