Oil and gas deposit Suzunskoye simultaneously with Lodochny, Tagulsky and Vankorsky belongs to the Vankor block. Its location is Krasnoyarsk Territory. According to the geological classification, it is referred to the Bolshekhetsky district of the West Siberian oil province.

History of the deposit

This oil-bearing vein was discovered in 1972. By now, its reserves have been estimated at 56 million tons. Of the three adjacent deposits Suzunskoye - the smallest. The reserves of Boat are estimated at 60 million tons, Tagulskogo - in 286 million tons. All these places of development of the company "Rosneft" belong. Previously, the owners of the Suzunskoye field were oil and gas producing companies TNK BP and Slavneft. Oil on an industrial scale is currently swinging only on the main - Vankor. The latter for the excellent quality of extracted "black gold" is called "Russian Kuwait". The first of the three adjacent deposits, the management of Rosneft decided to develop the Suzunskoye. The company acquired the license for oil production in this region from TNK BP in 2013. Until 2004, the field belonged to the company "Slavneft".

Starting from 2007, the Suzunskoye field is carrying out works aimed at implementing the program for pilot development. Specialists study the structure of the oil-bearing layer and explore deeper deposits. Based on the data they collected, a full-scale project will be developed. In the fall of 2008, when the latter belonged to TNK BP, about 1,500 barrels of gushing oil were produced here. A little later, another well was drilled, the debit of which amounted to 280 thousand tons per day.

Prospects

In 2013, the design of the facilities for the improvement of the field was completed. Its infrastructure was developed by the institute Giprovostokneft (Samara). Full-scale development at the Suzunskoye field is expected to begin in 2017. At least, such plans were in front of TNK BP before the sale of the license. Perhaps the new owner will postpone these terms. By the present time, installations for oil treatment are being installed on the deposit, assembly of power generation facilities is under way, roads are being laid. Also, Rosneft, as well as third-party companies, are engaged in the construction of residential and social facilities.

The Suzunskoye deposit will be developed in conjunction with the existing Vankor field. According to the management of Rosneft, this will help to minimize costs, increase productivity and simultaneously reduce the negative impact on the ecology of the region. According to the project, 8 exploratory wells will be drilled at the Suzunskoye field, including 3 horizontal wells. The contractor to perform this work was selected by the company "Taymyrnefterazvedka".

The Yamal oil pipeline

Of course, Rosneft, among other things, had to find ways to transport the oil of the Suzun deposit. It will be pumped through the new Yamal oil pipeline, which connected Suzun with the Zapolyarnoye gas pipeline. The latter was built in 2013-2015. Its total length was 374 km. The same pipeline will transport oil from other fields in the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District. In the Zapolyarny PSP there is a reception center. The operator of the development projects for all three fields, Suzun, Lodochny and Tagulsky, was appointed by the management of Rosneft CJSC Vankorneft (Krasnoyarsk). Also, this company was commissioned to build a 150-megawatt hydroelectric power station to supply new facilities with electricity.

Field characteristics

A geological feature of the Suzunsky deposit is the presence of a sandy composition related to the two types of Lower Cretaceous deposits: the Yakovlevsky (Middle Aljubian Formation) and the Lower Kheta (Lower Vaanjin Formations). In the roof of the Dolgan suite there are large gas accumulations. However, they do not apply to industrial ones. The oil of the Suzun field, as a result of the research carried out, is recognized as very high quality and easy. The development of oil and gas fields in the Vankor area is considered a promising business. This block is the second largest in terms of reserves from Rosneft. And of course, the company will invest in it until the maximum profit is achieved.

Vankor field

To date, the Suzunskoye deposit is bringing in all the equipment necessary for mining and almost completed the work on piling. At the same time, production drilling is under way. In 2014, Rosneft began construction of an inter-field oil pipeline between the Suzun and Vankor fields. The latter is being developed since 2009. To date, the Vankor cluster, which will include the Suzunskoye deposit, consists of 23 licensed sites. Some of them are located in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, some are in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District. On the constructed inter-field highway, Suzun oil will flow to the receiving point of the Vankor production site. Further along the line Vankor - Purpe it will be sent to the system of oil pipelines of the country.

Working conditions

Like Vankorskoye, the Suzunskoye deposit is located beyond the Arctic Circle in the permafrost region. And consequently, the working conditions here are very heavy. To date, the construction of a small town for workers is nearing completion at the Surgut deposit. In addition, other work is under way to create favorable conditions for oil workers' work.

The weather (the Suzunskoye deposit (the Krasnoyarsk Territory), as already mentioned, is located beyond the Arctic Circle) clearly does not spoil people working here. In winter, the air temperature in this area can drop to -60 g, in the summer - to rise to 30 g. Get to the place of workers hired to build the infrastructure of Suzun, you have to first a helicopter, and then - by car for almost a day. Go here mostly those who want to earn a shift.

Location

People who want to earn extra money often ask the question in the search engine: "The Suzun deposit - where is it?". It is located on the border of the Evenki and Taymyr districts. The nearest to the Vankor and Suzunskoye deposits of Igarka is 142 km. A bit further and north of Norilsk. In the immediate vicinity of the deposit there are no settlements. There are only tundra around. The deposits of Lodochnoe and Tagulskoye are located slightly to the south of Vankor. Suzunskoe - north.

Suzunskoye field: feedback from employees

Unfortunately, the feedback on the working conditions in this field is not only positive. Third-party watch companies often do not provide the workers with the proper conditions, and sometimes they do not even care about observing basic safety precautions. Judging by the responses, people live in poorly insulated wagons, bed linen is not changed, fed nourishing, but monotonous.

The living conditions at the Suzun deposit are thus not very good. In some cases, workers do not even get boots and mittens, which, of course, is unacceptable in conditions of Arctic polarization. Pay-for-hire companies pay 60-80 thousand rubles for hard work. As the workers consider, the attitude to them from the leadership also leaves much to be desired.

But, probably, after the completion of the construction of the town, and putting the deposit into operation, the working conditions here will become tolerable, as, for example, at Vankorneft (Krasnoyarsk). So far, the situation on the site, judging by the reviews, is not really good.
