Park River Station, Friendship Park - the most beautiful places for recreation

In the northernmost part of the capital, near the River Station, lies the beautiful River Station park. The Friendship Park is located in close proximity. These two places for recreation are a single forest park, which is located on the east coast of the Khimki reservoir and is divided by the Leningrad Highway into two parts. Before you start a walk in these parks, it is recommended to inspect the River Station itself, whose building is built in the shape of a large ship. On the terraces of the station there are fountains South and North, which symbolize the connection of the waterways of these continents in Moscow.

To the building of the station adjoins a small park, the area of which is 50 hectares. It is adorned with unique chimes installed in the tower of the station after they were brought from the Resurrection Cathedral. This is the River Station. The Friendship Park is located on the territory of the Left Bank district of the northern part of Moscow. Its area is 51 hectares. For holidaymakers there are all conditions for a safe and comfortable family vacation. The territory is equipped with many playgrounds, there is a large sports field. In addition, you can walk around neatly equipped ponds. An amusement park is open daily.

We will not run ahead and first of all we will examine the River Station park. Park of Friendship and its interesting places will be left for later, since it is located a little further.

At the entrance there is a sculpture made of white stone, representing a woman who holds a sailboat in the arms raised above her head. On both sides of the entrance there are cast-iron anchors. The architectural value itself is represented by the fence of the park itself, established in 1937. Children's attractions are located on the left and surrounded by tall trees that create a shadow in the summer days. Here, on one of the alleys, there is a small fountain, which brings freshness to the general atmosphere of this site.

After the territory is fully explored, we leave the River Station park. Friendship Park is the next destination. After the exit it is necessary to go through the underground passage.

One of the attractions is the sculpture of a rider. It is a monument to Manas the Magnanimous, set on a hill. An interesting monument of red granite with a beautiful inscription, which is located in the depths of the park. In addition, the sculpture of the Spanish writer Meguel de Sarvantes Saavedra was installed in the park of Friendship. For those who do not know - he was the author of the famous novel "Don Quixote".

The Park of Friendship at the River Station is famous for other monuments, among which there is a sculptural composition of three women, set near the monument to Sarvantes. Closer to the Leningrad Highway, between the birches, is a small granite stele. In the depths of the park stands a pedestal of yellow stone. A little further there is a monument given by India. He depicts a man with a long beard, in attire to the heels.

Another attraction that adorns the Friendship Park, a photo of which is presented here - Festival Ponds. In fact, this is one pond, since the ponds are interconnected by narrow isthmuses. This is a pretty picturesque place. In addition, there is a circus-tent "Rainbow" in the park.
