Coming from the people

Vasily Melnichenko, whose biography is very interesting and noteworthy, was born into a peasant family in 1954 in Ukraine. He spent his childhood in the countryside, and after graduation he became a student at the Uman Agricultural Academy. In 1987, Vasily Melnichenko moved to live in the Urals region, where his first occupation was the production of gravestones from marble.

Head of the cooperative

The future farmer quickly got used to the new place of residence and in 1989 he was appointed the head of the agricultural enterprise (cooperative "Interior") in the village of Dawn. Prosperous business could not be named: the lack of feed, the lack of discipline among employees, and so on. But Melnichenko Vasily was able to solve the main problems of the enterprise.

Shops, a bakery, a confectionery, a fish shop, a mill, a workshop for the production of furniture, a sewing workshop were built. The production lines were modernized, the premises were repaired, and a new transformer substation was built.

In 1995, the farm headed by him ranks first in the contest of projects for social and economic development, which is organized nationwide. The enterprise becomes versatile. In the village, the role of the women's council, established under the TOS of the village of Dawn, is becoming more active. The "Interior" cooperative began to help in solving state problems: social adaptation of persons released to freedom, provision of housing and jobs for internally displaced persons from the former Soviet republics, youth employment.

But he flatly refused to comply with their demands. Then they physically destroyed his offspring. After some time, the Ural peasant declared war on the raiders and established a legal consultation in the village, which provided services to residents on a non-refundable basis.

After the destruction of his farm in the village of Dawn, he decided to become a correspondent of the print edition "Territory of People's Power." The goal of making Galkinsky an exemplary state farm is incredibly difficult to achieve. Nevertheless, Vasily Alexandrovich Melnichenko, whose photo often flashes in the press, is not going to give up even in the conditions of the economic crisis. Whichever project the Ural entrepreneur implements, there have always been difficulties on his way. He is one hundred percent sure that the development of the village in our country is hampered by the officials themselves. In particular, the farmer claims that the authorities are deliberately going to increase the price of diesel fuel, so that in the village they stop plowing the land. "Everything is done to make the village extinct," says the peasant. However, Vasily Alexandrovich Melnichenko, the director of the Galkinsky farm, is not so easy to give up. For several years, he was nurturing in his head the idea of making rabbit fur products. To start his new enterprise, he had to pass the procedure for attestation of jobs. The entrepreneur is puzzled why officials took care of the health of citizens to private hands. The intermediary company for its services requires a large enough amount - more than 120 thousand rubles. "This barrier seriously hinders the opening of business. Why are they forced to use the services of a private company? "- complains the entrepreneur. That's what difficulties Vasily Alexandrovich had to face.

Successful business

Today, the enterprise for the processing of rabbit skins successfully operates in the Center of Initiatives.

This is the main business of Melnichenko, which brings to its owner a stable income. A peasant from the Urals also built a farm where more than one thousand animals are bred. Rabbit fur is used in making rugs and fur coats. Meat "domestic rabbit" is delivered to a roadside cafe, which was built by Vasily Alexandrovich Melnichenko. The farmer assures that the assortment of dishes at his point of catering are no worse than in local and even near Moscow institutions. In particular, the chefs Melnichenko can offer meat to the guests in French, savory side dishes, soups, delicious shish kebab, roast from a rabbit, several options for salad. And the prices in a public institution, according to visitors, are quite acceptable. In the immediate vicinity of the above-mentioned point of catering is a mini-hotel, in which, as a rule, truckers spend the night. This object also brings a small income to the owner.

In the success of the "rabbit" business, Vasily Alexandrovich does not doubt, since he knows how much demand he uses, and will use the products produced by his company.

Other projects Melnichenko

Another significant project for the Ural peasant is the construction of economy class apartments.

However, to implement it in life is not possible, in the opinion of Vasily Alexandrovich, without erecting an enterprise for the production of foam ceramics. The son of a farmer worked carefully on the design of the latter. And the development was appreciated by representatives of the scientific community. This is confirmed by the various diplomas and certificates that adorn Melnychenko's office. Anyway, but to realize the idea in practice is still problematic, since serious investments are required.

"I have no sources of financing, and I do not want to borrow money from the bank because of the stubborn interest that it wants to receive by issuing a loan for business development. As for the officials, they did not interest my project from the point of view of investment. But in Lithuania, I built such a plant, "- says the entrepreneur.

In the plans of Vasily Alexandrovich - to organize a modern production complex, equipped with the latest equipment, equipped with shops, where the products will be packed and spacious vegetable stores. Melnichenko is ready to acquire production units exclusively of domestic production. "The equipment for the manufacture of silicon products is already being made at our enterprises: Electric Furnace (Rybinsk), Energia (Voronezh), Unikhim (Yekaterinburg)," the Ural businessman said.

WTO and agriculture

Melnichenko is critical of the fact that our country joined the WTO. In his opinion, today everyone is puzzled over how to "bypass" the international organization. And one of the options for solving this problem is to recognize the fertile lands of our country as unsuitable for agriculture. The farmer is convinced that no bank will give out a loan to any businessman who intends to develop business in "dysfunctional" regions. But Vasily Alexandrovich is a man "not out of a timid dozen," and he is all accessible ways to be heard by the authorities.

Fighter for justice

Today, a peasant from the province is actively involved in social activities. He is not only a businessman, but also a human rights activist.
