Nikolai Rogozhkin, Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Siberian Federal District: biography, activities and interesting facts

Nikolai Rogozhkin is a well-known Russian state and military figure. He has the rank of army general. At present he is the representative of the head of state in Siberia. He represents the interests of the head of state in one of the largest federal districts.

Biography of an official and a military

Nikolay Rogozhkin was born in a small town Michurinsk in the Tambov region. It happened in 1952. His parents were simple workers. In particular, my father worked at the Locomotive Repair Plant in Michurinsk. Took part in the battles in the war against the fascists.

My mother Nikolai Rogozhkin was the operator at the local post office. The future ambassador in 1969 graduated from 10 classes of local secondary school.

Military education

At the same time, Nikolai Rogozhkin joined the ranks of the Soviet army, graduated with honors from the capital's Suvorov Military School.

Even at a young age, the hero of our article decided for himself that he would link his fate with the service of the Motherland. Therefore, he continued to receive military education, deciding to learn strategy and tactics of warfare. For this he entered the Higher Command School in Moscow, and later graduated from the specialized Higher Command Tank School in Kazan.

Increasing his own qualification and receiving the next military ranks throughout his career became the life goal of Nikolai Rogozhkin. The biography also includes studies at the academy specializing in armored forces, as well as the most important academy, the general staff. From the latter he was graduated in 1995, having received the rank of Lieutenant-General after the training.

In the service of the Motherland

The first military unit in which Rogozhkin began his service was the 214th motorized rifle regiment, which was part of the Bakhmach Division, based near Kiev. Over time, he rose to the commander of a tank platoon. Later he began to command the company, in 1977 - the headquarters, and in 1978, at last, directly headed the tank battalion.

In 1980, after graduating from the academy of the armored academy, Nikolai Rogozhkin was appointed to the 20th motorized infantry division, which was based in Germany and was part of a group of Soviet troops. He headed the headquarters of Chertkovsky regiment. In 1984 he received command of the 40th Guards Tank Regiment.

An interesting fact: he received the high post of commander of the regiment in the rank of major. This was a unique case both for those times and for the present. Usually such high posts are given to higher officers. In order to level this situation, Rogozhkin out of turn was soon awarded the rank of lieutenant-colonel.

Since 1986, he headed the 11th Guards Tank Division, which was stationed in Turkestan, specifically in the town of Kushka. In the early 90's he headed the center, which trained junior specialists for motorized rifle troops. It was located in Ashgabat.

Service in Russia

After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Rogozhkin did not change his oath, as some officers did at that time, and remained in the armed forces. Moreover, I went on promotion.

He graduated from the Higher Academy of the General Staff, began to teach martial arts in this educational institution.

Substantial career growth in his biography was outlined in 1996, when Rogozhkin became deputy chief of the main headquarters of the ground forces.

In the mid-90s, like many Russian military, planned military operations in the territory of the Chechen Republic during the first armed campaign against militants and extremists in this Russian region.

Intensified in his career was issued and the period from 1996 to 1997. Rogozhkin was sent to a special mission to Tajikistan, where he took part in battles with the enemy on the Tajik-Afghan border.

Service in the Ministry of Internal Affairs

In 2000, Rogozhkin, who at that time served as Lieutenant-General, was transferred to the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. He headed the department for the direct combat training of internal units.

And in 2001 he became the first deputy head of the main headquarters of internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

At the post of Commander-in-Chief

For 10 years, from 2004 to 2014, Rogozhkin was the commander-in-chief of the internal troops. In this regard, in 2007, Russian President Vladimir Putin conferred on him the title of Army General.

Soon the status of the post, which was occupied by the hero of our article, was significantly increased. Since 2009, the head of the internal troops began to combine the post of Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. This increase significantly increased his weight in the military community.

At the peak of his military career Rogozhkin came out in 2013, when, commanding internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, became the first deputy federal minister of internal affairs.

In 2014 he was dismissed from military service at his own request. At that time he was 62 years old.

On the post of plenipotentiary

Having left the army, Nikolai Rogozhkin did not stay long without work. The plenipotentiary whose biography is contained in this article, he became already in May 2014. He was asked to represent the interests of the head of state in the Siberian Federal District. Thus, the zone of its influence included the Altai, Krasnoyarsk and Zabaikalsky Krai, the republics of Buryatia, Khakassia and Tyva, Irkutsk, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk, Omsk and Tomsk regions.

The administrative center of the Siberian Federal District was located in its largest city - Novosibirsk. At the same time Rogozhkin became a real state counselor of the first class.

It was necessary to solve a wide range of problems to Nikolay Rogozhkin. Plenipotentiary managed the liquidation of large-scale forest fires in Siberia, which fell on local forests in 2015. Then the operational headquarters was urgently created, which took measures to combat this natural disaster.

True, not everyone believed that the culprit of these fires was nature and an accident. One of them was the plenipotentiary of the SFO Nikolai Rogozhkin. Commenting on the critical situation in Siberia, he suggested that fires could have arisen as a result of actions by a sabotage group, which, according to the official, could consist of well-trained and prepared oppositionists. Their main goal was destabilization of the situation in the Siberian region.

At the same time, Nikolai Rogozhkin, the plenipotentiary whose biography is presented in this article, was noted by several more vivid and ambiguous statements. For example, he advised the fire victims to take measures independently to eliminate fire and clear their own plots affected by fires. And also actively take out unburned scrap metal, so that rescuers could more easily deal with numerous blockages.

Income of the Plenipotentiary

So, only in 2014, when Rogozhkin left the military service and became the official representative of the president in one of the largest districts of the country, his official income amounted to almost nine million rubles. At the same time, the official's wife earned quite a bit - just over 200 thousand rubles.

At the same time, there were thirteen plots of land of various sizes in the property of the official, four of them housed houses. Also the plenipotentiary owned one third of the apartment, three garages, a gazebo, a bathhouse on one of the land plots, a shashlik and two summer kitchens.

Rogozhkin's wife, despite a small total income, has declared a lot of real estate. In particular, these are nine plots of land, three of which are residential houses. Also three apartments, one of which is in common shared ownership, four garages, a sauna, two parking lots and two whole stables.

It should be noted that all the properties owned by the spouses are located on the territory of Russia.

In addition to the immovable property, Rogozhky also declared movable property. In the property of Nikolai Evgenievich there is a car "Land Rover" and a representative of the domestic automobile industry - UAZ. Also two trailers, a boat, a motorcycle and a Japanese ATV "Yamaha".

The official's wife has only one car - this is the German Mercedes-Benz.

Rogozhkin's family

The family at Rogozhkin is big and strong. He married at a time when he was a junior officer. The spouse went through with him numerous burdens of military towns and a constant change of residence.

They have one child - this is the son who decided to follow in the footsteps of his father. Now he serves as an officer in the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
