New Corolla 2013 as the machine of the future

The release of the new Toyota Corolla 2013, the first photos of which could be viewed on the Internet in January, is planned to be ready by the end of 2013. The Japanese company Toyota has already submitted information about the presentation of a new generation car in November in Los Angeles.

The plans to produce a car novelty in three versions: L, LE and S. The design of the new Corolla acquires more dynamics and aggression compared to previous models, for example, the headlights of the new car have already become, the lines of the body have become sharp, and the grille on the radiator has acquired the V- Shaped shape that merges with the sharp angles of the headlights, which is quite far from the prototype. Now, with a modified outline, the new Corolla 2013 Recalls Auris, which, as noted, is very good, given that the concept had a great similarity with a direct competitor - Honda Civic.

In addition, it is possible to trace the continuity of the new car series with the Furya concept of the sports type, which was presented as a prototype of Toyota Corolla in January in Detroit at the auto show. Especially good similarity can be traced in the design solution of the rear of the car. The dimensions of the new Toyota Corolla have not yet been reported, but it is possible to compare the parameters of the Furia and it will be seen that it is somewhat longer, wider, but slightly lower than Corolla.

Toyota Corolla: Specifications

As it became known, the base version of the Toyota Corolla car will be equipped with 15-inch steel discs, the audio system will have four speakers, in addition, the car will be equipped with air conditioning, multi-information display, and folding mirrors. The wheelbase was enlarged by 10 cm and the remaining 27 cm can now provide quite a perceptible space in the cabin itself.

According to representatives of the Japanese auto giant, the new Corolla will have improved characteristics. The plans to equip with three types of engines, namely diesel, gasoline and hybrid. The power of gasoline engines will be 1.5 liters - 109 hp, the most powerful of them will be 1.8 liters - 140 hp.

Information on the future power of the hybrid type of engine is not yet available, but it was found out that in the absence of gasoline, the new Corolla 2013 is expected to be able to travel a distance of 50 to 70 km, which will directly depend on the terrain. At the same time, fuel consumption in this model of the car will remain the same acceptable as in the previous ones.

In addition to these features, the new 2013 Corolla will also be equipped with an advanced safety system that will significantly improve ease of machine control. For this purpose, the system of automatic following by the strip will be used.

It is reported that the car novelty Toyota Corolla on the American car market will be on sale closer to the end of this year, information about the upcoming sales of the car in Europe has not yet arrived. Approximately the new Corolla 2013 will appear on the world market in 2014. Approximate cost of the car at its basic configuration will be about 17 thousand US dollars.
