Mortar «Menovazine»: instructions, composition, application features

The drug "Menovazin" (the instruction describes its composition in detail) is a combined agent that has an effective local anesthetic effect. Issued in the form of a solution. In 100 ml of this transparent liquid contains 2.5 g of menthol, 1 g of procaine and the same amount of benzocaine (anestezina). The auxiliary substance in the solution is 70% ethyl alcohol.

The procaine (novocaine), which is part of the drug, is the most well-known and often used local anesthetic used by physicians for many decades. The spectrum of its application is wide enough: it is used for anesthesia in dentistry and otorhinolaryngology, with epidural and spinal, retrobulbar anesthesia and in some other cases. The benzocaine (anestezine) substance has been known for more than a hundred years: it was synthesized back in 1890, but it is still actively used both independently and in complex medicines. This effective surface anesthetic begins to act within a minute after application to the skin or mucous membranes. His hit on the tongue causes an unpleasant feeling of slight numbness, which, however, quickly passes. Benzocaine is taken orally for pain in the stomach, peptic ulcer, esophagitis. Locally it is used in the form of powder for allergies and skin diseases, accompanied by severe itching.

Menthol, which is part of the drug "Menovazin" (solution), acts on the skin receptors. It has a cooling effect on them, which significantly reduces the itching sensation that occurs in many skin diseases. Menthol is traditionally used in external means intended to alleviate the condition of rheumatism, muscle pain of various natures, and also for colds. As part of the same means "Menovazin" (solution), it enhances the effect of its other two components, procaine and benzocaine.

The "Menovazin" solution recommends the use for various diseases of the musculoskeletal system: rheumatoid polyarthritis, radiculitis and osteochondrosis, arthrosis and arthritis. Its use can significantly reduce pain in neuralgia, myalgia, pain in the joints. A solution of "Menovazin" (the instruction accentuates attention to this) is effective in injuries - bruises, stretching of muscles and ligaments. Finally, it brings considerable relief for skin diseases - dermatoses, accompanied by severe itching. Cosmeticians are advised to use the remedy "Menovazine" (the instruction emphasizes its effective anesthetic action) before epilation, to as much as possible smooth out the painful sensations.

When using a solution of "Menovazin" as an anesthetic, it is applied to the palm and then quickly, lightly rubbing the sore spot. The site on which the drug was applied is covered or wrapped with a woolen cloth - a feeling of warmth appears on the skin. The procedure is repeated two to three times a day. Applying the remedy for dermatitis, it should be gently applied to the skin with a cotton swab.

The total duration of application of the "Menovazine" solution, which is confirmed by its effectiveness, should not exceed three weeks. After this period, you need to take a break, otherwise there may be side effects: weakness, dizziness. Blood pressure may also decrease slightly.

The drug "Menovazine" should not be used during pregnancy and lactation. Before using it, in any case, a skin test should be performed to ensure that there is no individual intolerance. To do this, a small amount of it is applied to the inner crook of the elbow. Absence after an hour of itching, redness and swelling indicates that the "Menovazine" solution can be used for treatment.
