Zenit-ET camera: instructions for use

The Zenit-ET camera became one of the most popular of the line of DSLRs released in those old Soviet times. Consider the apparatus Zenith-ET, the instruction of which will help in its productive use.

First of all, of course, the film is charged to the camera. In this action there is nothing complicated. The device has a latch, pulling which you can open the back part, which should be the culprit of this procedure. On the left side you will see a place for the film. However, before you insert it into the socket, pull the tape measure to rewind. Having enclosed the film, release the tape measure and pull the protruding edge to the coil on the right so that it "looks" inside the camera. Close the camera cover, then cock the shutter, lowering the lever to the end. Press the button to take a picture, and after (for the device to feed an unlit film), cock and release the shutter twice.

We set the exposure. Using the exposure scale, we connect the arrows of the exposure meter and the calculator. Stop on the scale of 250, then the aperture should show the number 4.

This means that if the aperture is at 8, then the scale will show 60, so we set the shutter speed to 1 / 60s.

It can be installed with the help of a disk, rotating it until it is completely locked. The aperture is set according to the depth of field. Turn the ring until it clicks lightly and set the proper aperture number. The distance scale will help you to select a certain depth of field according to the selected aperture.

The main thing is not to break this convenience with "dead" batteries.

If you have a similar camera, be sure to treat it carefully, exclude the possibility of direct rays of sunlight falling into the camera lens. Be careful that dust does not penetrate it, because cleaning will be very painstaking, when as a daily rub is the best solution.
