Modern weapons of Russia. Modern small arms of Russia

The echo of the Cold War has not died out in our days. And the expanding geography of military conflicts and armed confrontations simply obliges to maintain the military-defense system "in tonus." Russia has always been one of the leading developers and weapons manufacturers in the world. Sufficient funding, comprehensive support of the state, encouragement of research and development allow creating new types of weapons. Modern weapons of Russia often have no analogues in the world, and in many respects it surpasses foreign models.

Do not think that the invention and improvement of the legendary "Kalash" is the only achievement of the Russian defense complex. Yes, this weapon was and is the most sold in the world, it took part in the greatest number of wars (in comparison with analogues), it is in service in many countries of the world. But Russia can boast not only for them ... After all, the rest of the Motherland is protected not only by arrow-gunners. Therefore, when talking about the most modern weapons of Russia, it is worth mentioning about the fact of how different armies of its kind are armed. So, let us consider in detail what is in the hands of those who defend the borders, the depths of the sea and the peaceful sky above their heads.

Tactical ballistic complexes

From the very word "voivode" the enemy begins to tremble. And it's not surprising - after all, this strategic missile system is capable of defeating even on objects located on the neighboring continent. Call it supernova impossible, designed and created it was still Soviet engineers. But its relevance for the years of existence is not lost. Until now, being the most powerful in the world, worthy rivals of foreign production, it never got. Transatlantic colleagues from the Pentagon call him "Satan" (Satan SS-18 Mod.1,2,3). And the Russians prefer the kindly respectful nickname "The King-Rocket".

Not less famous were the Iskander and Tochka-U complexes. Such modern weapons of Russia are designed to defeat the enemy's military facilities, well fortified and located at a significant distance.

Anti-tank missile systems

To defeat the enemy's heavy armor, the "Sturm-S" complex is installed, mounted on a powerful caterpillar tractor. He can shoot with 130-millimeter missiles "Sturm" and "Attack", capable of developing subsonic speed and penetrating almost any armor.

His brother with an innocuous name "Chrysanthemum" is able to destroy not only military boats, aircraft at low altitude, engineering facilities, but also tanks, both existing and in advanced development.

MLRS

Reactive systems of volley fire are designed to defeat dispersed enemy manpower, fortifications, fortified fire positions, lightly armored and unarmored vehicles. MLRS "Grad" (122 mm) and "Smerch" (300 mm) are distributed far beyond Russia.

These installations are in service in the armies of several countries around the world.

Anti-tank guns

Self-propelled gun SPT 2S25, which has the same power as the most advanced tanks, hits the target with 125-mm rockets.

The same caliber is also possessed by the "Sprut" - a towed cannon designed even for circular defense.

Self-propelled guns (mortars)

Among the variety of self-propelled mortars developed and produced by the Russian Federation, the most dangerous was and remains the SAU "Tulip". Already withdrawn from production, this gun, affectionately called "SAUška" artillerymen, continues to serve faithfully. A 240 mm artillery installation can use several types of projectiles, including radio-controlled ("Smelchak"). To date, the ACS "Tulip" has no analogues in the world.

Not less attention deserves other tools: Nona, Hyacinth, Peony. These artillery installations have repeatedly participated in wars and armed conflicts, where they were able to clearly demonstrate what a real Russian power, modern weapons, ability to win.

Towed mortars and howitzers

Despite the fact that many samples were developed back in the days of the USSR, they still do not give up their positions today. The development of technology allows us to improve our weapons 20-30 years ago, bringing it to the same level with the world's latest developments. For example, howitzer D-30 was adopted in service in the 60's of the last century, but it does not lag behind world analogues today. For her, special shells have been developed, which can be controlled by a computer.

Mortars 120 and 82 mm shoulder to shoulder, they serve almost intact. Improvements relate to the munitions used for them.

Anti-tank grenade launcher weapons

Modern weapons of Russia include and portable grenade launchers. For the RPG, several types of projectiles of caliber 105 mm are intended, including thermobaric and reactive. With the help of this weapon, you can even hit the newest tanks with cumulative protection. In addition to the great striking force, modern military weapons of Russia should be convenient for the fighter. For example, the grenade launcher "Boer" of the sample of 2014 weighs only 1.5 kg, and its calculation consists of one person.

Along with grenade launchers, anti-personnel flamethrowers are also used.

Modern small arms of Russia

Talking about pistols, assault rifles, rifles and machine guns developed in Russia, you can endlessly. The real professionals who were at the source of the weapons business, for many generations, have taught their successors to make weapons that can withstand the maximum loads and serve the soldier faithfully. No wonder among the military are so popular jokes that in the Russian swamp you can dig up the lost three-line in the 40s and successfully win back with it more than one war. And the legendary AK knowingly uses the glory of the most "neusyvaemogo" weapons in the world.

But jokes are jokes, and meanwhile modern small arms of Russia often give odds to many foreign analogs. First of all, it is worth mentioning the old man-Kalash, whose new version - AK-12 - has a number of unique features:

  • Possibility of feeding from a box or drum shop for 30/60 and 95 rounds respectively);
  • The adjustable recharge arm, which makes it easier for left-handed soldiers;
  • Built-in Picatinny bar;
  • Standard optics;
  • Butt, forming in any direction;
  • Minimal heap, reduced return.

Three sniper rifles developed in Russia (KORD, "Vintorez", SVD) have been among the top ten in the world for many years.

Many other new developments deserve attention. Talking about the power of Russian weapons can be truly endless ...
