Mikhail Aleshin - Russian racing driver in IndyCar

The future racer was born in Moscow on May 22, 1987. His career began in the classic scenario - in karting, in 1996. Over the years of appearances in this series he became a three-time champion of Russia and once won the champion title of Scandinavia.

Seven years later, Mikhail Alyoshin enters the international level, trying himself in different series on cars with open wheels. In 2007, he won the stage in Monza in the World Series of Renault. The victory was not only a major achievement for the rider himself, but also for the country, since Mikhail was the first Russian to achieve this result. In the same year, speaking in the GP2 series, he became the first representative of Russia, who managed to earn points in this series.

Acquaintance with the machine of Formula-1 in Michael Aleshin took place in 2008 during preparation for participation in the Moscow City Racing show.

Season 2009, Michael spent in Formula-2. As a result, he took a high third place. This result gave him the right to receive the super-license of Formula-1 and become, according to tradition, the first Russian racing driver who achieved such a right.

The next year in the World Series of Renault 3.5 was the best, and the pilot achieved the championship in this series of ring races, the only one of his compatriots.

Since 2014, Mikhail Alyoshin - racer of the most famous American series of races. The end of the first season for the athlete was unsuccessful, he was in a very serious accident. Immediately he was hospitalized, and the hospital was diagnosed with multiple injuries. They did not threaten life, but it did not take the simplest recovery period. Doctors insisted on complete refusal of any physical exertion for six months, but Mikhail Aleshin started training in three months. At the same time, he did not have any psychological problems, which is often the case with racers after serious accidents.

Despite the fact that Michael for a long period was a member of the youth program Red Bull and sometimes took part in test races in Formula 1, he does not intend to change American ring races to royal ones. According to him, in IndyCar more races, extreme and adrenaline, and in Formula-1 more pathos. At the same time, he is ready to think about the transition, if a serious offer comes from one of the top teams.

In addition to sports, the personal life of the racer Mikhail Aleshin also takes place. Spending most of the year in the US, he considers Russia a home, so he did not buy housing in America. An interesting fact is that he does not have a personal car, because because of the compact size of the city of residence - Indianapolis (Indiana), he simply does not need it. Among my hobbies is music. In Russia was a member of a musical group. Due to lack of time, plays very rarely, only when he arrives home on a short vacation. Listens to jazz, funk, soul.

After the accident, he changed gastronomic tastes - fell in love with green olives and a passion for sweets.

After several seasons, held in IndyCar, Michael continues to gain experience and show ever higher results. Since not all the peaks are still subdued, there is something to strive for.
