Mercedes C200 - dynamic comfort for young people

The history of C-class cars (Comfortklasse - comfortable class) initially had little to do with the emphasis on comfort. It is customary to describe this history from the 1900s onwards with the factory index W201, which in the early days of their release were the smallest in the Mercedes-Benz model line. Such cars were created initially as an economical and compact alternative to Mercedes-Benz's own prestigious brands and competitor of the rapidly increasing sales of the BMW 3 Series. Later, a small A-class appeared at Mercedes, taking away the title of younger brother from the C-class. A year before the C-class was singled out as a separate sub-type of Mercedes-Benz cars, the AMG tuning company merged into a friendly team of Mercedes cars and took two hands on the C36 AMG model, which made the C-class more famous later.

The second sign for the C-class event occurred in the early 20th century, when a descendant of Gottlieb's founder Daimler, Paul Daimler, began experimenting with injecting air into the engine to increase its power and a sharp set of revolutions under load. In 1924, these experiments were successfully completed by Ferdinand Porsche, chief engineer of Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft, creating a Mercedes-24/100 / 140PS car with a compressor motor. Subsequently, the compressor was widely used on Mercedes-Benz cars until the end of the Second World War. The most "ardent fan" of the former "compressed Mers" was Adolf Hitler. After the war, the history of the compressor was interrupted until 1995 and resumed in the C-class by creating the famous model Mercedes C200 Kompressor.

In the 90s, the C-class trend was created as a reduced and inexpensive S-class for young people, and the 2000s added to this trend "pomochannost" electronics and automation. One of the most popular models among young people was and still is the Mercedes Benz C200. As one of its owners put it: "The car that I use to dissuade my friends from the fact that there is nothing more successful than the Honda Accord."

The latest modification of the Mercedes C200, promoted on the market under the slogan "Dynamics of comfort", first of all declares the dynamics of the body lines. This car has predatory outlines, but with a lot of strict lines and sloping planes. The automatic system Agility Control, used in the Mercedes C200, responds by changing the stiffness of the shock absorbers and the sharpness of the steering control for the quality of the road surface, the speed of the car and the maneuver it performs. The Mercedes C200 braking system, called the Adaptive Brake, helps cruise control, facilitating downhill driving, also provides braking in damp conditions and even loss of brake fluid.

The first thing that is remembered after a trip in any Mercedes is a smooth ride and excellent noise isolation. C200 in this respect corresponds to its older colleagues from the S-class: it's possible to talk in a whisper in any driving mode, and you can drink hot coffee while on the move and without the risk of getting burned. But there are in the last C200 electronic options almost useless in our road conditions: for example, tracking traffic along the road marking line or determining driver fatigue by an incomprehensible algorithm. Boast of such opportunities you can and even need, and use - extremely difficult.

In general, the Mercedes C200 - a modern, driving and youth car, allowing the owner to feel confident and relaxed.
