Medicinal product "Irunin": instructions for use for ordinary people

Fungal diseases are probably the most unpleasant and common diseases in the modern world. Fungal infections are extremely resistant, they are difficult to treat, they destroy the tissues on which the strain is based. Medicine now has a wide range of antifungal agents. What is "Irunin"?

Instruction for use includes a number of formulations of the interpreters "Irunin", as a derivative of triazole, which has a pronounced antifungal effect. The active substance of the drug is itraconazole, it is effective in combating yeast fungi, dematophytes, and also with regard to molds.

The drug is produced in various forms. For oral administration, capsules of Irunin are made. Inside the capsule pills of itraconazole are put in yellow. The capsule shell is yellow, soft.

For the treatment of vaginal fungal infections, irunine tablets of white color are produced. Tablets are injected into the vagina and allowed to dissolve completely.

Indications for use of the preparation "Irunin"

  • Candidiasis visceral, deep;

  • Fungal keratitis;

Contraindications of the preparation "Irunin"

  • Misolastine;
  • Astemizole;
  • Quinidine;
  • Cisapride;
  • Pimozide;
  • Dofetilide;

  • Midazolam.

During the period of Irunin treatment, women are advised to use barrier contraceptives. During lactation, the drug is not prescribed, if necessary, breastfeeding for the period of therapy is discontinued.

Side effects

Irunine can cause some side effects. Patients may develop anorexia, nausea, abdominal pain, indigestion, constipation, liver dysfunction. A case of a lethal outcome was recorded in connection with a serious lesion of the liver. In addition, when using Irunin, there may be dizziness, pain, drowsiness, and neuropathy. During the research, hypertension, pulmonary edema, impotence, decreased desire, allergies in various forms of manifestation, as well as other side effects were also revealed.

A large number of side effects and a high degree of their danger makes "Irunin" a drug, the use of which is allowed only under the strict supervision of the doctor in the dosage indicated in the prescription.

Storage conditions

The drug is stored under standard conditions at room temperature in the absence of direct light. Shelf life under observance of storage conditions is 24 months. Irunin should not be exposed to moisture.
