The beginning of the way

A native of Zamoskvorechye, he was born on 6.02.1960 in a military family. Mom loved her husband so much that she named him the only son. Most of the time he spent on business trips, and the boy had to deal with his wife, an economist by profession.

She dreamed of giving the child a musical education, but in the music school, the guy did not find a rumor. The woman showed tenacity, inviting teachers home. The first serious gift for the boy was the piano "Dawn", and the teacher, who revealed the future talent - Eugene Kapulsky.

Together with him studied Sergei Mazaev (group "Moral Code") and the legendary Sergei Paramonov (soloist BDH by V. Popov), with whom they created a jazz quartet.

Lube

Becoming in 1987 a musical editor of the studio of pop music "Record", the composer conceived the idea of creating his own band, proposing S. Mazayev to become her soloist. Songs for her were written in collaboration with the poet Alexander Shaganov. He, like the future leader of the collective N. Rastorguev, comes from Lyubertsy, hence the name "Lube".

Matvienko Igor Igorevich was initially against the nomination of Rastorguev, who was recommended instead of himself by Mazayev, refusing to participate in the project. I did not even want to listen to him. But the future soloist showed enviable persistence, having learned the whole repertoire. Matvienko liked this persistence, and the first tours showed that the choice was made correctly. "Combat", "Come for ...", "There behind fogs", "Birches" and other songs of the collective for more than 25 years are headed by the country's hit parades.

Producer

In 1991 Igor Igorevich Matvienko founded his own production center. Today his activity is one of the most successful. In 1994, he made a bet on charismatic A. Grigoriev-Appolonov, creating "Ivanushki International." But the guys could not break into the big stage. The beginning producer was ready to close the unsuccessful project, but the collective persuaded to make the last video. It was a song "Clouds" in the unusual style of trip-hop for Russians, instantly making the band famous.

Today his center successfully produces the finalists of the "Star Factory" - Victoria Daineko, Sati Kazanova, Irson Kudikov, Mikhail Grebenshchikova, because he personally took part in the reality show.

Together with V. Drobysh, M. Fadeev and K. Meladze, Igor Igorevich Matvienko created the project "The Main Stage" on the "Russia" TV channel (2014), being dissatisfied with the results of the Golos contest. Winners often remain in oblivion, because without media today it is difficult to break into the elite of show business.

The result of his successful work was an invitation to become a music producer of the 2014 Olympics. He perfectly coped with the task, recording choral singing and making unique arrangements.

Personal life

Matvienko Igor Igorevich already in his mature years came to the temple. He regrets that he failed to create a family approved by the Orthodox Church. By age 56, he has five children and Nyusha's granddaughter from Stanislav's eldest son. With his mother, he was not married, but he always took part in the life of the child. Today the young man works in the producer center of his father. The eldest daughter of Anastasia from the second wife named Larissa is a designer of clothes, she studied in England.
